This product is a game changer!!
BOLDIFY IS A GAME CHANGER with one caveat: wish there was FDA approval on this product. I'm a female Asian-American in my 30s, so I have always had fine, thin hair. The worst part for me is this: the skin of scalp shows (no matter how much volume I try to put in my hair by styling/blowdrying), and I feel the fine/thinness is getting more prolific throughout the years!! In photos, my head/hair always has a white spot showing the scalp - which you can see from my first posted photo - plus, I'm also a professional musician so on-stage lights really exacerbate this issue. Throughout many, many years, I've asked hairstylists to part my hair differently and create more volume (layers!), but it never fixed the issue of having my scalp show. Having black hair and a really light-toned scalp is THE WORST. How could I possibly look like a professional? In desperation, I started looking up products on Amazon and came across Bolidify. I've been concerned about putting liquids (i.e. sprays, like the old Bumble & Bumble product I tried over a decade ago) on my scalp because I don't want my skin to absorb toxic chemicals* (more on my slight concern about one of the ingredients below.) When I read that Boldify are actually fibers, I decided to give it a shot. This product's goal of making your hair look thicker WORKS!!! The tiny fibers are dispensed through holes similar to a baby powder dispenser, and my method to apply is simply by holding it at an angle and tapping the bottle. Just a bit of advice: When you "pat it down" as the instructions direct, the fibers will rub off on your fingers, so I just apply by tapping, then use my hair spray (it's a Bed Head hard hold hairspray, which probably IS being absorbed by my scalp, but I'm digressing). The look stays throughout the entire day, and I've even fallen asleep with this product in my hair, and it's still passable the next day. If someone were to very closely examine my scalp (as in, look at my scalp from less than a half a foot away), I'm sure they'd see a tiny bit of strangeness, but no one is ever going to be doing that. As you can see from the second photo, it's very passable. My only hesitation in giving it a full-blown 10 out of 10 is the lack of FDA approval and that it's manufactured in China. One of the ingredients listed (fourth out of five) is DMDM Hydantoin - it's a formaldehyde releaser to combat the growth of bacteria in cosmetic products and I wish it listed how much is in there (according to some research, it is not considered unsafe if there is less than 1% of it in a product). I read that the shampoos by Boldify are FDA approved but want to know why this product isn't approved. Would love a response by Boldify on this matter. All being said, using this product has absolutely boosted my confidence. A few weeks ago, I had a major performance with professional photography taken, and the former issues with my scalp showing were non-existent because I used this. This product is indeed a game changer in covering up the scalp and making your hair look fuller. I WISH I had this product throughout the past ten years. Ever since buying this over a month ago, I've used it daily (I'm not sure how much of it I have left, so I can't say how long this bottle will last/hence, the true value for the money). I highly recommend if you're not worried about the FDA approval.

Natural-Looking Coverage That Boosts Confidence
These hair fibers blend in naturally and make thinning areas look noticeably fuller within seconds. The color matched well, and the fibers stayed in place throughout the day without feeling heavy or looking artificial. They were easy to apply and gave my hair a much thicker, more natural appearance. A little product goes a long way, so the larger container offers excellent value. Whether for everyday use or special occasions, it's an easy way to improve the look of thinning hair with minimal effort. Based on the quality, ease of use, and natural-looking results, I'd definitely be interested in trying more hair care products from this brand in the future.

It works! But there are a few downsides.
Works well, and I asked someone to look closely at my hair and they said it looks fine and it does cover thinning areas. But know the following: 1) Even with hair spray, if you run your fingers through your hair you are likely to have little brown fuzz all over your finger tips. 2) No matter what products you try, your hair will look very dry and matte finish where this is applied. 3) It can be messy when applying this, even if you're careful, so if you have a white countertop in the bathroom you'll see little pepper fuzz all over.

Great for thinning hair.
Excellent product for a decent price. Easy to apply and it stays put. I've used this for quite some time and it covers very well. The powder does get on things in my bathroom, but that's the nature of any product like this. Personally I think it's worth it because I feel so much more confident with my scalp not showing through my hair.

Excellent Coverage and Long Lasting
Excellent product to disguise and cover scalp peeling through. I have alopecia in front and back areas. I used other brands and they came off on my pillows or clothing. Boldify has excellent hair fiber components that bind to the hair to not only cover the thinning spots but also long lasting. Washes out without leaving residue. Great product!

Works surprisingly well!
This product is less than half the price of the more well-known Toppik which is what led me to try it out along with the fact that there is no ammonia like Toppik contains in its much longer list of ingredients. It was very easy to apply by just shaking it over the thin spots after already styling my hair and patting it into the hair as they tell you. The fibers do a good job at naturally clinging to and between the hairs you have. A quick spritz of hairspray helps secure the fibers in place and wiping any extra fallout from your face or counter is painless. I haven't had any noticeable fallout going about my day and nobody has clocked that I'm using the product. They would have to be pretty close and specifically looking for it. I did accidentally order a too light of a shade and it looked like dust in my hair, but their customer service was super helpful and refunded me so I could reorder a better match and this one was right on the money. It made a HUGE difference and I would definitely recommend you go darker if you are between shades like they say or maybe just goa shade darker anyways. I have a medium cool toned brown color and the Ash Brown worked perfect for me. This is one of the few shades that other hair fiber companies don't have. This brand definitely seems to have the most. Unfortunately I have thinning at my hairline which is perhaps not the best use for hair fibers as it is much more likely to be noticeable right in the front if you have a lot of scalp showing through, so I have to try and get the right balance of improving the thickness without getting too much falling onto my scalp. They do not offer a spray applicator, but they are available from other providers and I feel this would definitely help for hairline applications. For crown thinness it works much better but I would caution against using it in completely or near bald areas as it can only do so much and relies on sticking to hairs you do have. I've seen a bunch of videos of people with barely any hair using hair fiber products and they never zoom in close...I can imagine that's for a reason. Without hair, it's just going to look like astroturf on your scalp.

Color is darker than advertising
It is my first time using a product like this. I purchased is it hazelnut? Like a light brown. And it is DARK! So Iโm going to try again with the dark blonde and see if it is a better match. My husband didnโt say anything to me. He didnโt notice. My mom did t say anything either.. so she didnโt notice. Which means .. it passed. I rubbed my finger down my part to lessen the powder and keep it natural looking. It lasted the day and I even went trail riding. The product seems to be good, just the color is off. Go lighter if youโre questioning.

Best Hair Fibers I've Tried So Far!!
I've only ever used Toppik Hair Fibers before this, so I admittedly don't have a lot to compare it to. But compared to Toppik, I'm SHOCKED by how much more I like this product! Toppik isn't bad, mind you, this one, in my opinion, is just better. So the main issues I always had with Toppik was how messy it was to apply, and how it could end up making your hair look really powder-y, for lack of a better word. Also, if you didn't apply an appropriate amount of hairspray, every time you touched your hair or laid your head down on a pillow or armrest or something, it would leave behind powdery residue. So with Boldify, it didn't outright fix or eliminate those issues completely. But in my opinion, it is definitely better and a lot less of an issue! As far as making a mess during application, I'll be honest, that might just be because I've gotten so good at applying hair fibers from how long I've used Toppik now, that the reason it seems better may very well just be because my skull level is better and have absolutely nothing to do with the product. BUT, since it does seem to naturally stick to my hair better (even before I apply any hairspray), I'm inclined to believe that the lower amount of hair powder I find in my bathroom sink after applying this could also very well be because there's less just falling out as a style my hair. But as I said, I'm not 100% on that point TBH. What I am confident about is just how well this stays in my hair, even when I don't apply any hairspray! That's the part that shocked me the most. Now, there's definitely still some that'll come out and leave a mark on your fingers if you scratch your scalp, although not as much and I've yet to see any on my pillow case. Although to be fair, I haven't been using it as long or had as many chances yet to ensure I've isolated all other potential variables when it comes to this point. But with a hairspray in, I definitely feel more confident with this product than I did with Toppik as far as any falling out accidentally or in the rain or something. I mean, I wouldn't want my head to be soaked, but I do believe this could handle a little rain without getting completely gross looking! The best thing about this stuff is how much more natural I feel like my hair looks. It doesn't suck all the shine of my natural hair right out and make things look as powdery as Toppik did for me! Unfortunately, I did get a shade too light. I think my hair color is in-between dark brown and completely black. With Toppik, I felt like there darkest black ended up making my hair look artificially colored, so I always went a step down and it looked correct. With this brand, I don't think they have the perfect match for my hair color. That said, they do claim to replace it for you, and I'm tempted to try it just to see how the process is and whatnot for this review. But at the same time, I feel confident that the best thing I could do would actually probably be to just get another thing of black and mix the 2 together. So I'll probably just keep it for now. I haven't been using for too long now, only a little over a week. I'll update the review if anything changes, but for now, I feel confident recommending this brand!

Buen producto a precio razonable
