My husband has really bad athlete's foot. He gets it in between his toes and then it kind of spreads from there. It's like gross and scaly looking. I thought I would have him try this out and see if it helped. I honestly think it did. He has a lot of skin issues and he ends up going through tubes of cortisone. So much so that they're just kind of hidden all over our house. And it does help him a lot but I think that his feet needed something extra. I think for his feet, all it does is help stop the itch but I don't think it gets away the infection. I'm glad that I tried something different and got him this. It seemed to really help his feet actually heal. So I do think it's very effective, especially compared to what he was using. I also think it was very cheap. You get like a huge tube for cheap. He also thought the scent was very subtle and not noticeable but he also doesn't have a lot of smell sensory. Overall, I recommend this for anyone with athlete's foot.

I'm on day two of using this antifungal cream on my feet. I picked this up to deal with my very tight and dry feet. I like this cream because it is hydrating and doesn't suck the moisture out of my feet like other products I've used. From the first application, I felt my feet react as though they were being rehydrated. I really like the extended nozzle on the tube; it makes for easy, controlled dispensing. There is no smell, and a little goes a long way. I will continue to use it twice daily to see if my feet continue to improve.

I've been using Tolnaftate Antifungal Cream for quite a while now & honestly, this TARO brand works just as well as some of the more expensive brands I've tried in the past. The biggest difference is the price which makes it much more affordable & a great value. It provides quick relief from itching and burning & I've had good results using it on my feet, toes, and other affected areas. It consistently gets the job done and helps keep irritation from getting worse. I've found that it works best when the area can stay exposed to air for a while after application. For my feet, I usually wash & dry them thoroughly, apply the cream, rub it in well & wait a bit before putting on socks or shoes. The texture is another plus. It's thick enough to stay where you put it, but it spreads easily & absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. I try to start treatment before the skin gets too dry or cracked, but even when it has, this cream still works but it just takes a little longer. I apply it twice a day, morning, and night, to clean, dry skin. One tip that's helped me is continuing to use it for about two weeks after the symptoms are gone. Doing that seems to help keep the infection from coming back. Overall, this is an effective & affordable antifungal cream that relieves itching, absorbs well & performs just as well as higher-priced alternatives. I'd definitely buy it again.

While I do have dry cracked heels, I also have some itchy peeling skin between some of my toes and occasional very tiny and itchy blisters on the middle and arches of my feet. I found this cream to immediately and effectively stop the itchiness. The cream works fast and efficiently on the scaliness and peeling skin, within two days for me. The little itchy blisters take a little longer to clear up, but it does attach the itchiness right away. I like the small applicator on the tube as it doesn't push too much out at a time and you need very little as it spreads easily. I cannot detect any scent. It applies rather greasy but absorbs quickly and I can put my socks on in about a two minutes without it feeling slick or sticky when I walk. You apply it twice a day and it absorbs enough to still be working while I sleep without wearing socks. This is my first time using a Tolnaftate Cream versus the name brand Clotrimazole Cream and so far I prefer this.

This review is of, "Tolnaftate Antifungal Athletes Foot Cream 1%" selling for $4.99 at the time of this review. Very reasonable price, and the 1 oz tube is plenty for many applications. It is a odorless white cream, and goes on easily, and absorbs without being too greasy feeling. It leaves the area where you apply it moist, as opposed to a power which seems to leave it very dry though perhaps more effective. Still, if you want a product that stays where you place it this cream seems to work better at that than a powder. The active ingredient is advertised to work, on athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworn (tinea corporis), even though athletes foot seems to be what it is primarily marketed for, and likely because a cream will prove even coverage on feet. In the case of jock itch the fact a cream will tend to keep the area moist and may not be ideal, but should still be effective. Given what I have stated, and the low price I gave this a top rating of 5 stars. If you don't see improvement, do see a doctor for what you have might not be fungal. My doctor was able to write a prescription for stronger strength powder, though while I wait for that to arrive, I have been finding this cream to be great, and providing much appreciated relief and improvement.
