Much better than water transfer decals.
Water transfers have their uses. I recently restored my childhood rocking chair. It had a decal of a bear on it and I wanted to restore it the way it was when I was a toddler. (68 years ago). I'm a retired graphic artist and decided to go this route instead of the original "waterslide" decal. I took a photo of the bear decal before sanding the chair and reworked the art on my computer. The final results were exactly what I wanted. Now I can pass down my old rocking chair down to my grandchildren to enjoy watching cartoons in it like I did 65 years ago!

Just Don't do it, don't be like me and ignore all the bad reviews, this stuff is junk.
Wished I would have heeded the other reviews. As others have said, once you attach the clear sticky sheet and remove it the backing comes off so you are left trying to carefully peel a very sticky thin stretchy image off an apply it to your surface. Good luck if you even get that far before it starts wrinkling and sticking to itself and now you just have a clump of sticky wadded up film. I have learned through research that I can turn waterslides into rub off decals. I will try that instead. I I could send what I have left of this stuff back I would!

Read instructions carefully
This is great and easy to use. Looks fantastic and is much cheaper than buying already predesigned rub-off art. One thing that needs improvement is the instruction to flip the image after you have completed designing it, otherwise, you will get the mirrored result on the final product.

Not an ink transfer but good for other crafts
I thought this would be more of an ink transfer, similar to using ModPodge to rub an image onto ceramic, but this actually leaves a film behind the ink, which wasn't quite what I was looking for. This would work in other applications like adding a logo to a cosplay accessory, but won't work to add a design to an apothecary jar or other glossy piece. Tip: when removing the clear film, separate the vellum (smoky white) layer from the white backing a bit and pull a small tear into the edge of the vellum layer. This will reveal the clear film by stretching it away from the vellum layer.

Works 1 in 30 times. Hard to peel off baking to get th we m to stick.
Great idea but quality makes them hard to seperate and stick down evenly.. Too much work for the price. On the up side when they work they are very thin and relatively hard to remove. Similar to a clear latex bandage. I printed 60 and yielded about 2 that worked as planned. The rest were wrinkled when applied or would not seperate from the backing paper properly.

Difficult to use
So difficult to use. The whole picture always come off on the adhesive and at that point itโs not fixable. Complete waste of money

What complete garbage!!!!
The front frosted layer that is supposed to stay on and function as the layer you rub over to get the transfer to adhere falls right off, while the back layer you need to remove to expose the adhesive is impossible to remove. I've tried several times to no avail. Spent almost $20 on a product that was in the end unusable as none of the sheets worked as they should. I am tired of products that do not do what they should-----THIS PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM AMAZON SO OTHERS DON'T HAVE THEIR MONEY TAKEN FOR A USELESS PRODUCT!!!!!!
