I am a Latina/Native American/Polish mix, I know, weird combo...but here we are. I have straight, thick, almost black hair. I had the hardest time finding a shampoo and conditioner that worked for me. My scalp and hair would get severely dry using other products. If I didn't wash every two days then I would feel greasy. The amount of money I spent on shampoos is ridiculous, the majority of the products in your typical store don't seem to cater to people with ethnic backgrounds. Luckily, I found this. It smells amazing, I can wash it every two days without drying out my hair, my hair doesn't fall out like it used to, and it feels lustrous. My son who is even more mixed, loves this and my mom who is blonde loves it. Please do yourself a favor and give it a try.

I get this shampoo for my mom who has very tight 3c,4a Hispanic hair curls and she loves it. She feels like it hydrates her hair as well as helps for growth. Her hair has been thinning and this has caused a good growth for her. She’s been using it for about 2 years now and it’s the one she prefers. As for me I can’t use it on my wavy hair, in between 2c and 3a, because it causes it to tangle up tremendously mid wash every time.

I love the smell of this shampoo and conditioner BUT.... Pros: They have a nice smell. Hair does feel clean after use. Cons: The conditioner was missing the cap part of the lid even though it was wrapped up and there was no damage to the package. You have to use a good bit of the shampoo to get any kind of lather. The conditioner definitely does not detaingle so if you have long hair like me you will need a detaingler. After 2-3 wks of use it started really drying my hair out.

I have finally found a very good shampoo. Already ordered the second one. Small and quality is just too good.

I love the way my hair feels after using the shampoo and the conditioner. People have asked me what I have changed about my hair (and they compliment me), and all I did was wash it with this product!
