NECA Batman (1989 Film) - Prop Replica - Grapnel Launcher

This is a really nice prop. Must have for all you Batman fans. Does not shoot but it retracts the hook.

Genuinely a piece of trash. NECA should be ashamed that they even put this thing out. First you have to find the most obscure batteries. 1.5V X 2. Had to go to 2 stores just to find them. When I finally got the batteries in the thing didn't fire. At all. If I tapped the side it would fire, but I don't remember Batman having to do that. The line retractor worked about 4 times before it got tangled and wouldn't shoot anymore. And since there is no access to the inside of the thing I can't even open it up to try to untangle the line. So having spent $35 on the grapple launcher and another $10 on these asinine I'm out $45 for a paper weight. Don't waste your time or money on this trash.

Need special batteries but works great

This is true, more like 420 (pounds) so this masterpiece of a grappling Gun is as fake as the climate change grift but it's so awesome to hold and it could never lift more than a thick marker it is still so satisfying to hold, shot and retract then repeat. The grappling Gun is a beautiful addition to anyone's comic, movie and or video game collection. Not to nit pick but my only complaint is I wish it used regular sized AA or AAA batteries. Ps. This is not meant for children.

Wont shoot far, and is not durable. Good for younger children, but for ages 10+ I would not recommend.

Make sure the string on end is tied good to the arrow shaft, mine was loose and the string got fed into spool and its not made to take apart without breaking it so I couldn’t get at line. Other than that its a nice replica and not intended for repeat abuse so avoid letting kids use it or end up breaking it.

I love this replica grapnel gun and I recommend it to any Batman fan. It’s just a cool and satisfying piece of movie merchandise to have laying around. But I must stress that it is a toy. Handle carefully.

A toy grappling hook was the one thing our kids wanted from Santa for Christmas. Finally got the right kind of very specific random batteries and.. nothing. Nothing happens. The string does not retract. We got 2 of these and for the other one the battery compartment won’t even open. Kids are disappointed and I’m frustrated that these are literally garbage. Hope my return gets accepted since I definitely no longer have the box

All sealed when delivered but It doesnt work !!!! And my Batman animated grapnel launcher havent yet delivered and its two months and half now .
