Ideal cheap rod. Managed to catch pike, perch, chub and carp. Reel isn't the best but does what it needs to do! On my second one as the first one snapped (my fault)

Great rod - rubbish flimsy reel
The rod is great - love it. Great action. Great for travel and sturdy enough to do the job. The reel is rubbish - disappointing. I have had 2 of these reels and after a few uses the reel gets salty and the. Starts to seize up in the mechanism and becomes unuseable. Can’t seem to open and take apart the inner mechanism to grease it up properly.
