Amazing Coffee!!!
I am Colombian and have been looking for legit Colombian coffee here in the States. I've tried other brands, but nothing taste like my country's coffee! ... except this one. I absolutely love Juan Vadlez coffee. It's the only one that I can drink straight up without sugar or milk/cream! It is made AND packed in Colombia :) ONLY PROBLEM: Once you have this coffee, all the other coffees won't taste the same and you'll never want to go back again.

Great tasting medium blend coffee...a bit pricey, but very tasty.
I tried this along with: Juan Valdez Premium Columbian Coffee (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006J23YQ0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1) Melitta Coffee, Columbian Supreme Coffee (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008EL7MNU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2) The Good Java Company - USDA Organic Fair Trade Colombian Small Batch Roasted Coffee (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HGK0ZKC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4) Cameron's Organic Woods & Water Ground Coffee, 12-Ounce Bag (http://www.amazon.com/Camerons-Organic-Ground-Coffee-12-Ounce/dp/B005APL1DU/ref=pd_bia_nav_t_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1A97HR2J6F8KDRYRDCE5) CAMERON'S Whole Bean Coffee, Breakfast Blend, 32-Ounce (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006Y7WAHE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) And I found it sort of a 'blah' coffee taste. I will say I typically don't like Starbucks blends (taste burnt to me) and my 'sweet spot' is typically a medium blend with a lot of flavor. I generally stay away from 'flavored' coffees and will go with Columbian and Breakfast blends. So my review might be best served for those in that 'ballpark' of taste. I came away liking the Juan Valdez and the Cameron's Breakfast blend the most. The Juan Valdez might have come out a slight nudge ahead, however is much more expensive for the same sized bag. And my wife and I drink 2-4 cups of coffee each per day.

I like it
Good flavor. Nutty. Mild on the palate. I like it. Seems to be missing that Colombian coffee "note" however. Reminds me of some of those Hawaiian Coffee blends. You know the ones. Night quite "Kona Gold" in taste. This is not quite "Columbian" in taste. But, if you're not thinking Colombian, but just good coffee, I truly believe you will enjoy this coffee.

Yes. There really is a Juan Valdez. And he grew this coffee.
This is the real thing. Ever since visiting Columbia several times in the late 90s, I have been trying to find a coffee that was that good. I tried Folgers Gourmet. I tried McCafe. Starbucks. I bought a grinder and tried various beans. I found several pretty good coffees. But no excellente coffee. I followed everybody's suggestions. Pretty good coffee! But not any that could match the body, lack of acid and the aroma of ANY coffee I had in Columbia. So I tried this stuff. Yes! This is what I had in Columbia. Fairly strong, but NO bitter. If you have been to Columbia you know what I am talking about. If you have not, I am sorry. It is a beautiful country.
