I did a lot of research before purchasing. So when I finally got my new MacBook Pro with touchbar 15" the moment I unboxed it I knew I needed to protect it and I didn't want to take away any of the sleekness so I came across this great product it came to my door in 2 days I'm glad I bought this cover very good product

Love this Product! Ordered my iBlason MacBook Pro (15-inch 2016) Hard Shell Protective Case in Halo-Blue on January 17, 2017 and received it on January 20, 2017. Great Smooth Soft-Touch Matte Frosted Case! Gotta say I also like the rubber pegs at the bottom that slightly lifts the laptop so it'll get some air flow from beneath. Leaves the 4 USB-C ports open for access without the removal of the case.It's just like the Hard Case I've had on my older MacBook Pro (17-inch 2011) laptop for 5+ years from Speck (Bright Orange).When I first put on the top cover, I put it on wrong and could only open the screen to a 90 degree angle. When I flipped it and place the top cover on correctly, it had the full range to open out, so make sure when the laptop is closed with the apple on top is upside down to you & the iBlason logo should be at the bottom right corner so you can read it right side up.iBlason! Great Company To Order From! This is a product made, not by Apple, but by iBlason. For iBlason to make this product they need the laptop when it is available in order to properly produce a case that will fit securely on your expensive hardware. This isn't a rinky-dinky piece of plastic. This is a quality piece of ware that is made to protect your laptop. For this reason, it would be absurd to expect the product so quickly after the new Apple product has been released.I would definitely order this product again from this company. Fortunately/Unfortunately it won't be for a few years, as This Case & I will provide the care needed to make sure it lasts as long as my last one did.An added feature to those who ordered a colored on. Think on this, all apple laptops are gray or space gray. What if it gets stolen. Someone walking away with it could just be walking away with their own. But with an outlandish color like Orange or Yellow or Green or Etc. Etc. Etc, you can spot your laptop being taken away. Yeah, Black or Gray or Blue (the one I ordered) may look cool, but a brighter one may be better. I had an Orange one on my last laptop, but decided to go with this Blue this time around. I like hardcover laptop cases as opposed to things like sleeves and skins because it provides considerable protection without adding too much bulk. The I-Blason came out no too long after the release of the Touch Bar MacBook Pro, but it still holds up to any new competition and for good reason. I’ve had mine for over a year now and I have no complaints. So far, there aren’t any signs of major wear and tear and I’m certain that it’ll hold up for years to come. The case is a translucent blackish/gray and has a nice stealthy look when attached to the laptop.There are two things that this case has that many other cases I’ve owned don’t. For one, the bottom cover actually extends to the hinge of the laptop. A lot of other cases I’ve seen don't do this and some say that it’s so the air could vent out and/or that it would inhibit the laptop from opening/closing properly, but I-Blason pulls it off very well without making any compromises. Another factor is the rubber feet. I never liked cases with the white feet because those can wear out and get dirty pretty easily. This one doesn’t because the materials and design are better, providing a good grip to whatever surface you put it on while providing just enough space for good air flow. I-Blason clearly thought out every detail and applied it effectively. This is by far the best hardcover case that you can get for your MacBook in terms of size and practicality.

A drop damaged the MacBook (w/ shell on), but it's not too bad and would have been worse with with the MacBook Pro 15 Case 2016 A1707, ProCase Rubberized Hard Case Shell Cover and Keyboard Cover for Apple Macbook Pro 15" (2016 Release) with Touch Bar and Touch ID -Black shell I ordered to replace my original i-Blason case (see photos). I am returning the ProCase shell and ordering another i-Blason shell for now.

The reviews speak for themselves. I was looking for a case to compliment my new MacBook Pro without obstructing the overall design. The quality of the case is fantastic (matches that of the $50 Speck). Soft touch, rubbery feel to it. The rubber feet grip very well against whatever surface you place your Mac on. I have taken a few photos to give you a better idea of how the Frost Black variant looks on the Space Grey MBP. Order this, you will not be disappointed.

This case worked great for the 4 months I've had it however upon taking the case off my laptop to clean it I noticed 2 indents in the metal of the back of the screen towards the bottom where the case apparently was pushing against the metal of the laptop and the indents are permanently in the laptop now, very disappointed with the quality on this case! The computer costs over $2000 and now it has permanent indents on the back of it!
