Good machine I bent about 500 sticks of rebar both #4 and #5 without issue. It is a 90 degree bend so if you need a larger curve this machine won’t do that. It’s easy to use, I recommend it.

I purchased this product for a large commercial product I had going on and was in a time pinch for a rebar bender. This product has 100% lived up to my satisfaction and I am super happy with this purchase. I have arthritis in my back and my knee (need a knee replacement). Bending #4 rebar manually was doable but my structural engineer threw #5 into the mix this year. Bending #5 manually takes every ounce of energy and really hurts both my knee and back. I just bought this bender and OMG, this is incredible!!! I should have bought one of these years ago. It bends #5 rebar in seconds. Do yourself a favor and by one of these and avoid the aggravation of manual bending. We're building an off-the-grid ICF medieval castle (Keene Castle). We have to bend hundreds of these #5 corner pieces. My back is happy I don't have to do this manually any more.

Putting up an ICF wall that had special requirements and had to use #5rebar. This tool works faster than you can load it literally seconds as if it was bending a straw.

This rebar bender is pure junk. I made the same mistake twice in the last 6 months but not again. Seller is not local and knows nothing how to fix it. No buttons on the unit. Only works with the pedal, no pedal no bending. The degrees pointer is not accurate. It take multiple tries to get it right. Keeps jamming on bend. If you are looking for a rebar bender this is not it!

I mean, if you have to custom bend 10M or 15M bars, you can always use pipes or some other mechanical means, but this makes it so easy to make a nice tight bend. Sometimes you have to bend rebar on site, and this machine does that. Will it last? I don't know. I've only made a few bends with it, but it did so quickly without sounding stressed. I would love the Metabo unit, but that's 6 times the cost. This works fine. Edit: I should add that if you're bending custom 10M stirrups with this, and you know the outside of your vertical bars are (say) 20" apart, simply make a two marks on the 10M bar, 20" apart. Bend exactly at those marks. Simple. If you want to bend hooks with that 10M, add 3/8" at each hook and you spacing will be perfect.

Works great on 1/2” & 5/8

I've rented many rebar benders in my construction business and this thing competes easily against the $3000 machines for only a few hundred bucks. Don't even waste your time renting, just buy this and use it like it's a rental and you will be pleasantly surprised at how well this thing takes it. My local rental store actually uses these and has never had a failure yet. That says it all for me

Used this for 1 job so far to bend 800 linear feat of 15m (15mm 5/8” rebar) this tool had no problems with it. When it bends it slightly rolls forward so you have to compensate for it before you start bending to get the bends to line up properly. Does not come with a carrying case. The unit itself is fairly heavy. Only used it for 1 job so far not sure how it will hold up long term yet, but build quality seems good.

If this thing hold up for a few years it will have been well worth the money. It’s incredibly fast and easy to use. Very effective and makes heavy work light and easy.
