Excellent hair product that I have used for years!

I use this product and the shampoo and conditioner for colored hair. I started using them several years ago and was very disappointed when they disappeared from the market. Recently, I discovered that Amazon now sells the Ovation products. These products leave my hair health and do NOT strip or fade the color like so many of brands that claim to protect hair color. I have used this product, all Ovation products , since it arrived on the market 20 + years ago and no matter what else I try on my hair nothing meets Ovation standards.

I really don't know what to think about this one. First of all it was so thick that I couldn't squeeze it out of the top of the bottle, so I had to take the lid off. Eventually, as the amount became less, it came out of the top of the bottle like it is supposed to. They claim it helps to grow hair. I haven't used it long enough to say yes or no to that. I really don't know, but so far, I haven't noticed much, if any growth to my hair. So, if I were you, I would just read the other reviews, but I can't really say it's great or it's nothing, but I'll just say, I'm not expecting any miracles with this product, but maybe after I have used up the whole bottle I'll have a different response. There are 4 stars only because I really can't say if it does what it claims to do or not - maybe later I will have to revise this.

I received a gift set of Ovation for Christmas in 2015 and have been a loyal customer ever since. I am AA with 4B/4C hair. At the time I was transitioning from relaxed to natural and Ovation helped me during that long transition. I have always had relaxed shoulder-length hair since I was 10 years old. I used the Ovation moisture line faithfully and noticed less breakage on the first wash and length retention by the third wash. My hair grew from shoulder length to bra length in 6 months. At this time I was also transitioning and used minimal heat and manipulation, which also helps with hair growth. Over time I started trying out different new products ( Shea Moisture and Mielle) and they did not hit like Ovations. Ovation's main goal is less breakage. LESS BREAKAGE leads to LENGTH RETENTION = HAIR GROWTH! January 2024 I started back using cell therapy and my hair just passed bra length. If you can not afford the entire line, the CELL THERAPY is a must. It only goes on the scalp so the bottle will last a while. Don't forget to massage the cell therapy into the scalp. TML

Ovation has done wonders for my hair. It has made thicker, stronger, and better looking. Ordering on Amazon was easy and the delivery was quick.

This used to be one of my favorite products, but they most have changed the formula. It smells like chemicals and makes your hair sticky. You have to add water just to make it liquid enough to use. I would definitely not recommend it. Please bring the old formula back.
