Sturdy and suited for our family recreation.I needed these to add to my "Grandma Sports Camp"Collection. I searched all sporting stores,Goodwill and these used but new condition are the winners. My grandsons and I are enjoying being outdoors learning skills,getting sunshine and exercise(dogs want their balls thrown).

This set is okay for some light backyard fun, but don’t expect high quality. The racquets are lightweight and good for beginners or kids, but they feel a bit flimsy and may not hold up to rough use. The shuttlecocks are just average—after a few games, one of them started to fall apart. It’s a decent value for the price, especially if you're just looking for something casual to play around with. However, if you’re planning on playing regularly or more seriously, you might want to invest in something sturdier.

Rackets amazing..birdies HORRIBLE. Buy only for rackets and buy the birdies separately. They come deformed.

This Franklin Sports Badminton Racket + Birdie Set is a fun way to get kids active outdoors. My kids enjoyed playing with it right away, and the set comes with everything you need to start a game. The rackets are lightweight and easy for little hands to handle. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the rackets feel a bit flimsy compared to adult versions, and the birdies can get damaged if used on rough surfaces. Still, for casual backyard play and beginners, it’s a great value and provides plenty of entertainment.
