Actually, gripe water is sodium bicarbonate which helps more for upper gas, burps due to indigestion. These are intended for lower gas I the guts.

No this is free of that, parables, artifical ingredients and dyes. Vet and Physician Recommended.

Q: Constipation? i can’t find any evidence, does simethicone (active ingredient) cause constiptation?

When given in large doses or for several days in a row, it can. I never had an issues with it with my son, and he got these drops daily for the first few weeks of his life. Every child is different though, and whether they are on formula or breast milk could also make a different. I would suggest just starting small and seeing how your child does.
