They loved it but I thought it was too expensive and doesn’t even light up. You are probably thinking why did you buy it. It was a 3 week decision to make and child wore me down. Review: Worked just as we hoped it would! - This was bought for my young son for our trip to Universal Orlando. The wand worked wonderfully and he was able to cast all of the spells his little heart desired while we were there. The park staff did tell us that if in fact we did have a malfunctioning wand, they would replace it for us without an issue. It’s pretty durable as well and was dropped a few times without causing any injury to it. It is expensive, but it’ll save you the hassle of standing in line for one when you arrive. Trust me when I say, for that alone you’ll want to buy it beforehand.

Nice Harry Potter wand
Nice interactive Harry Potter wand. It was well packaged and the map was in it also. I haven’t tested it yet. This was for my sister and I lost her wand when going to an UBER. So I hope this works at Universal Studios Hollywood. But I heard they fix it for free. No negatives for me on this wand yet 5 Stars.

Great little pre-trip gift for Universal Orlando parks
The wand was sturdy and had a nice feel to it but my son had trouble casting spells in the Harry Potter Wizarding World. Let's just say he was a little frustrated. A nice wizard took a look at it and said it had a scratch on the tip that just needed to be buffed out. He took the wand for repair (for free) and we got it back pretty quickly. I'm not so sure he didn't just swap it out for a new one. But hey, that works too. :) It's quite possible my son could have scratched it on the way in the park. Just something to be aware of. You certainly don't want your little wizard to have trouble with their spells straight out of the gate.
