Very sturdy and comfortable to grip. For me the tongs serve double duty - I am short so frequently use these to pull items from a kitchen shelf I can’t reach. They grip well, are strong and don’t flex with weight of item I am getting down. They perform every other kitchen function they are intended for with no issues. Perfect for me. At first I thought the price was high, but with the enhancement of silicone tips and that they are well constructed I don’t feel the price is out of line.

wow the silicone heads are solid and don't move, like other brands. It is worth the extra money to get a great product. It has solid construction. and it's the perfect size.

High quality tongs that are very easy to clean. Will have this for a long time.

The tongs are excellent quality. However, the angel of the tongs is off. They meet only at the tip. One can grab only a small amount at the tip. The other part is too far apart to grab a tong full of fries, etc.

OXO was rated highest by ATK (America’s Test Kitchen). The scalloped edges are nice for grasping food easily. I purchase OXO brand frequently and always find the quality to be worth the extra cost. Don’t go cheaper and end up not happy with your purchase and then spend more to buy a different brand.

I like to keep kitchen tongs handy on my magnetic knife rack, and these are magnetic. As usual with OXO brand, they work perfectly, and they are the perfect size for many kitchen tasks. I have not tried them in the dishwasher yet.

Love these. I have new pans and these tongs are comfortable to use while still saving the finish on my cookware. I use OXO for all my prep and utensils now. They last for YEARS!
