Are these equal to 4, 6 or 8 lbs?

I use these for water aerobics and I’m not sure what weight these would equal. The density of the foam gives you more or less the resistance of under water pushing. The denser the foam the harder you have to push giving you the “weight” or resistance you are looking for. These are very light so I would say 4 lbs. I hope you’re not confused. I don’t go to a gym to be able to do a comparison.

which ones are 40 % water resistance

Not sure if they are 40% but work well in the water. Only thing I do not like they mark easy soft foam. I would go with closed cell bar bells next time.

what size of dumbells give the most resistence in the water?

These offer good resistance and were the ones recommended by the water aerobics instructor
