This product does extend the life of a filter. I won't say it lasts the entire season ... I don't think there's a product out there that does that. But this does help the water from getting bacteria and slimy and the filter lasts at least twice as long. The product got lost in transit and the seller quickly reshipped and was excellent with communication.

Good water treatment for your humidifier. Great size for the money.

I’ve used this product before and have been very happy with it. I bought it again here on Amazon because one of the reviewers (with pictures) said that the price was for 6 bottles. The listing says nothing about multiple bottles, however. I was dismayed when I received only *one* bottle. If you are buying this product, you should be aware that this price is only for ONE bottle.

No more buildup of salt and other junk in the water. You only need about a cap full with a tank of water so one bottle lasts a very long time. Don't buy a large bottle. A small bottle will lost more than one season. I have been using this product for two years with various types of humidifers. No more need to replace the foam inserts in humidifiers that tend to build up large deposits of salt and become useless.

Haven't used this in a couple years. Just been using water in the humidifier and have had a lot of scaling buildup. After using this for 3 days it removed a lot of buildup from the tank and some goo I didn’t know as in there as well as softened the buildup around the humidifier vents which lessened the buildup on its own and is now easier to remove with a plastic bristles brush. It also took away the nasty smell that was emitting when the filters got dry at the end of the day (i neglected the humidifier cleaning and filters pretty bad). New filter going in next week after i deep clean the humidifier, definitely continuing to use this.

I always use this treatment for my humidifier, it keeps the stale water smell away so it doesn't stink up the house and keeps the bacteria smell away. I wouldn't use my humidifier without it anymore.

Works great. I change water daily, and initially put 1/4 cup, in 5 gallons. I add 4 gallons twice a day, with a 1/8 cup booster. No crud, no smell, no problems. I've used Essick Air too. It's more concentrated, and costs less, but smells worse, and has a warning about being corrosive. The BestAir 6 pack of 64oz brings down the cost/oz, to about the same as EssickAir. So, now I have a 3 year supply. I'd prefer if BestAir was more concentrated, and had a decent price without ordering so much. But still, it's what I'm going to get next time.
