Replacement for most electric water heaters. Easy to replace and work like new.

Easy to install
The mounting features looked different than the original thermostats, but after watching a Youtube video going through the replacement, it all became more clear. They popped into place with no problem. The terminal arrangement also differed slightly from the originals, but the numbering all matched up. The thermostat set point screw was in a different location so the original plastic shields didn't fit anymore, but I found that they weren't necessary since the styrofoam cover and metal outer cover would provide adequate protection from the high voltage wires when energized. Replacing both thermostats was about a 20-minute job.
