We've had the Royal Gourmet for a few months now. You can tell by the "wear" that we use it fairly often. This morning lightening hit our house and we lost power. We'll I must have coffee so I got out the 'ole percolator and used the grill to make coffee. Not bad. This was my first time using the grill without my husband and I gotta say, it was very easy to operate. It makes fantastic burgers and brats and we are looking forward to taking it camping and trying baked potatoes. It is a bit of a chore to clean. The brown residue is left over burger, I tried to convince my husband to cook on tinfoil but he chose not to so we have residue. It has handles but takes 2 of us to transport and we use it on a cheap folding table. All together I would definitely recommend this grill.

Works amazing. I needed a grill for camping, i was looking for something portable. Nice having the grill and griddle. Can put it on any surface top. I had mine of a plastic folding table. Highly recommend great pricing in my opinion.

Product arrived well packaged and was fairly easy to assemble. As others have mentioned, the grease tray is too small and doesn't fit securely on the rails that are supposed to hold it. Unless it stays perfectly centered, it falls down. Quick fix with two drill-drive screws I installed in the corners to keep it centered. Once assembled, it fired right up. The flat-top heated quickly and evenly. The grill side also delivers fairly even heat. This is a good value for the price.

I’ve been using this grill almost daily for several weeks now , and I think it’s great. Easy to clean and didn’t need seasoning like my old blackstone ( constant rust , never would season) . This grill was fairly easy to assemble but a little awkward. The slot for the grease pan is a little hard to find and the “fit” is a little loose. Overall this is a great grill , heats evenly and cooks great. After a few more weeks the surface of the griddle began to bubble up and peel off, it’s totally unusable now. After contacting seller (in China) for a product supposedly made in America, they agreed to send a replacement, in six months. I’m not holding my breath.

Best thing ive bought! Love the versatility and portability. Also bought the cover for it. Works great camping.

Ignites really quickly. Nothing sticks to the griddle after a long camping trip with lots of cooking for 8 people. Really even heating on the griddle. Feels very quality built and the set up was very easy. I dont like that the griddle screws into the unit instead of sliding in, it makes cleaning a bit more challenging. But overall this is a REALLY good griddle / grill for the value.

This is very poorly designed and not at all conducive to tailgating and traveling. The drip tray won't stay in. the griddle is not permanently attached. It just sits on the top. The griddle drain hole is poorly designed. The grease from the griddle will go all over the inside of the unit and not in the drip tray...which already doesn't stay in. I'm retunring before even trying it because the design flaws are so obvious
