FOOT SAVERS!!
I was hopeful and I wasn't let down. Many years ago, I was standing on a box that crumpled under me and my heel came down REALLY hard on the floor. I've been dealing with occasional pain ever since in my right heel. Whenever it flares up, there's little that I can do to alleviate the pain, but I still have to work, walk and stand. When I saw these on Amazon, I was skeptical, but hopeful. I am SO glad that I purchased these. They haven't made the pain bearable; they've made it a non-issue. My shoes fit over them easily without feeling tight.

Helps relieve some pain
I have been experiencing plantar fasciitis symptoms for a few weeks now and had been searching for something to help decrease the pain or provide support in my feet while I’m at work and home. My first day putting on the heel cups, I had them on for 24 hours, I actually slept with it on because the pain was that bad. It didn’t completely stop the pain, but I could feel that it was at least bearable during nighttime/sleep. It’s comfortable to wear alone and in bed, but a bit snug when wearing with shoes. I think I’m going to have to find good shoes to wear with the heel cups, otherwise, this is a great product and it has been helping me throughout the day.

INSTANTLY FELT RELIEVED AFTER WEARING
for some background i've had leg and ankle problems for a while now, i broke my ankle two years back and it never properly healed but even before that standing for more than 30 minutes would be downright excruciating sometimes if i didnt have the right footwear. i decided to buy these, not because of my foot pain but because i wanted to make a costume for a character that is nearly barefoot save for their ankles and heels (cringe i know) and i didnt want to stand on the bare floor without any protection or support for hours on end, and since they would be covered i figured tis could sort of act as some protection. anyway as soon as i tried them on and stood up, i couldnt stop smiling. i haven't felt ok to walk in so long, and for the first time in YEARS i actually couldn't stop just standing around. i never realized how much it hurt and how much better i could have been feeling. i later tried them while i did my exercises and again my legs arent screaming at me to stop. really a fantastic product. while they are great and if you have foot problems like me, i think its worth a shot to try, i think i should address really the only two problems i have with them. 1. they get sweaty pretty quickly. >maybe i'm just sweaty naturally or whatever but whenever i take these off even if i wear them for a few minutes the material would get kind of clammy and so would my feet. which was more so weird because theyre not hot or anything to wear so i'm not really sure why they make you SO sweaty. i think maybe wearing a sock between the cap and your foot *might* help but honestly i don't know. 2. the gel on the inside flattens super quick. >now they still work and are still comfy and all that its just after the first two times i wore them they kind of flattened. not a big deal, but i didn't really wear them for *so* long. maybe i'm too heavy or something for these or i apply too much pressure on my heels when i walk or stand, but it did happen. overall considering the price and everything else i am extremely satisfied with my purchase and intend to buy another pair in the future, but really do be aware of the things i mentioned.

Not thick enough
We recently ripped out the carpet in our house and replaced with hardwood floors. I recently discovered that I have plantar fasciitis, and foot pain is real the moment I step out of bed in the morning. My feet have always been achy, but the carpet has been helping with the issue. I guess the pain couldn't be hidden through the hardwood floors. I started to wear slippers/shoes around the house, but I HATE wearing shoes around the house, so I was looking for an alternative. These looked promising, so I ordered them. They helped a tiny amount, but not enough. I didn't want to return them, since I had spent the entire day wearing testing them. Then I went back on Amazon only to realize that they had thicker versions of these. I immediately ordered the thickened version and they worked much better for my foot pain. IMO, I'd skip the thin versions and purchase the thick ones. I feel more free since I don't have to wear shoes around the house. My toes can breathe, but they are neoprene, so they will heat your foot a bit. I work at a computer during my entire work day, so I let my feet breathe while I'm sitting at my desk and only really wear them when I'm working around the house. The added benefit of these is that they've been letting my dry heels heal a bit faster too. lol

These are annoying and don't fit in shoes
If you like to strap bulky things around your foot for no apparent reason, get these! I see no point in how they are suppose to help with plantar issues. There is supposedly a cup for your heel, but it's a hole punched in the bottom of the fabric with compresses into nothing. Ok, not nothing, maybe .0000037 inch difference in thickness from the surrounding area. The velcro fasteners are too big, itchy, and annoying. My "not-a-doctor" suggestion for plantar fasciitis would be to buy arch supports it deal with that tendon causing all your problems. I spent over a year with stupid ideas about heel pain and how to deal with it. It would make sense to use a cushion in your shoes, but that wasn't the solution. Stop walking around without shoes on and put something in your shoes that pushes your arches back up. I wear Birkenstock Sandals around the house now. Not a Birkenstock "kind of person" but OhMaLord! What a difference! I have gel arch inserts in all of my shoes, now. My heel pain is gone! Now, we just need to find arch inserts which stay in place, because it's pain in the dupa when they travel all around your shoes each time you put them on.

Heel protectors that actually protect
This is actually the second pair of these heel protectors I've purchased for my son who rows crew as a college athlete. They work. They work very well. My son has had multiple surgeries on his feet when he was younger and has hardware in the bones of his feet. Rowing can be pretty brutal as your feet are strapped into the boat and provide counterbalance for rowing motions. We tried plenty of other brands and styles, but nothing has worked as well as these heel protectors. The best part is that they provide full protection but they're not overly bulky and their machine washable. My son is in his third year of rowing varsity crew and he couldn't have done it without these heel protectors.

Do not fit as size indicated - -
they are smaller than the size indicated - a person should order a size larger. Then they would be just fine and much more comfortable. I was hoping for something I could wear at home around the house to help my heel pain. I will manage with these by adding a pair of socks with the toes cut out (another ruined pair of socks). Makes the costs of these a bit high.

Short strap and does not fit
The strap is not adjustable as stated and does not fit my foot, therefore it is totally useless and I cannot use it.

These work great for plantar fasciatis
I have plantar fasciatus, and if anyone who has this knows, it hurts, these gel cups were easy to go Uber top of my socks when I wasn't wearing my shoes, and they helped to keep my feet supported, and when I was walking, they didn't hurt as much. I used them for a few months while it was really bothering me. And now I have them, whenever it's really bad, but But I don't have to use them every day now. The bottom of the neoprene will wear off over time. I've used in them. I have ordered another pair but I did order the same ones because I liked the thickness and I like the adjustable strap.

not good
i would not recommend this . The strap was short and as such the product was useless because i could not use it

Quality is ok.
My first pair came with all the stitching ends coming undone. Had to glue them. I find relief from the heel pain I have (I’m a guy). The 2nd pair were so poorly put together I sent them back. 3rd pair were okay. 4th pair went back within 2 weeks because the gel pads broke down quickly/badly. I’m now on my 5th pair. Although they do give me relief, they’re too bulky to wear in regular shoes (okay for my slippers). They really aren’t made to last, though. They also tend to cut into the arches if you have flat feet. Yes, I have orthotics for that. I’m going to try Dr. Scholls Heel Cushions.

These really work!
I found these gems about a year ago. They eliminated my heel pain in one of my feet. As I only need one (because other foot is fine) I use one at a time and they last about 6 months with daily use. I highly recommend these to anyone experiencing heel pain.
