Ritrovo Selections Organic Balsamic Vinegar 6.78fl.oz. (200ml) (Citrus)

OMG, this is the best vinegar ever! Very light with a subtle lemon flavor, makes a wonderful vinaigrette with one on one with olive oil and salt. Also great to put on other vegetables and fabulous on light fish. I swear it would be wonderful drizzled on ice cream, just haven’t figured that one out yet!

This vinegar is wonderful. I have two salad dressing recipes that I make with it and really wouldn't use anything else. It's almost yummy enough to just sip by itself. First bought it on a trip at a specialty store. Was thrilled to find I could get it through Amazon.

Requested by a family member for Christmas. She loved the apple and couldn’t wait to try another flavor by this maker.

My purchase history says I have bought the Citrus flavor 7 times. Yikes. I love this balsamico and love that it's organic. I keep trying to make myself purchase a cheaper one, but I just can't. It has the perfect consistency and bright sweetly- acidic flavor for salads. As others have stated, you don't really need olive oil but I do use a little good quality Italian olive oil as well. I figure if this makes me so very happy to eat a salad for dinner, then why not? I generally used mixed greens with salt & pepper, fresh strawberries, feta, honey roasted pecans, and a boiled egg with a little olive oil and this sprinkled too generously over. It's definitely my favorite dinner with a toasted mini Naan.

Versatile and delicious but pricey.

This citrus balsamic is truly delicious. It's very thick (as a high quality balsamic should be) and the subtle citrus taste pairs perfectly with salads and seafood (tuna, shrimp, etc.). A little goes a long way which is important considering the price. It took several months to go through a whole bottle. Not an everyday salad dressing as we only add it to salads with seafood, otherwise opting for plain balsamic. Regardless, the citrus flavor has become a staple.

This stuff is the bomb! On a crisp cold salad, it can brighten anyone's day. It tastes citrusy and clean and wakes up anything you put it on without the calories of a salad dressing. It's also great on pasta salads and fruit salads.
