I am Looking for something very challenging for my smart dog. How hard is this puzzle toy?

First Step : put foods in the holes and cover them, teach your dogs to move the sliders and find the steps for foods with their nose and feet ; Second Step:When your pups succeed to figure it out ,reward pets immediately for successfully using the skills you’re trying to develop ,keep encouraging pets during the playing time;It’s not to keep them entertained for hours, but only a few minutes at most . If your dog is smart, and the dog treating toy maybe easy for them to complete , but challenging enough they can use nose and paw skills ,and they will became more active and smart.

My dog drops food toys to get the food out. Will this hold up to being. picked up and dropped?

hi，it is plastic，not too heavy enough，not suggest for the dogs that like picked up to get food.The toy is use for training dogs slow feeding and learn to use their mind to move the sliders to figure out treat.

My pup is very smart and 6month , is it easy game for a smart puppy playing?

No it’s VERY hard as t treat spots need 2 to three moves to gain access. There are no real raised areas on the top of the moving pieces so also not easy for a dog to use it’s nose or paws to help move the pieces. Mine has not figured it out and has played it about a dozen times and except for the yellow slider spots he needs my help to access the rest of the spots.
