What do you feed the triops?

Honestly, they do great with mixed diet crustacean feeding pellets. Those Rili shrimp they sell now for fancy mini desk aquariums? They have their own diet, but the pellets are small, sinking, and suit well for Triops.

Do they help with keeping the tank clean? If not do you know any that do? Im hoping to make a self cleaning ecosystem

To be honest, I wouldn't recommend putting them into an established tank. The reasons for this are as follows; While they are developing most other fish will try to eat them. When they are fully grown they will attack and eat other fish/snails/shrimp in your tank. If you want something that both looks cool and helps clean your tank, I would recommend shrimp/snails/algae eaters/and corys, as these are much less aggressive to their tankmates. In short Triops are more of a solo act in a tank. Along with their short lifespan they are just not a "big tank" kind of aquatic add in. I hope this helps.

Does this come with litter or food?

No, only pure triops eggs inside.

How large will these critters grow?

Max size is 2 inches. However most don't get more than 1.5 inches. Also the closer you have water to target temperature range (plus plenty of oxygenation) the more of them hatch. And when they get big enough, they enjoy shrimp amd other fish type foods. Hope this helps.

They hatch beautifully but it’s up to us to keep them alive and do our research

I’ve ordered twice. My first batch were incredible, there were 9 and they grew huge, but I think they started having trouble shedding their shells and they all died within the same 12 hours. The second batch hatched loads but only one has made it but is doing really well. I will purchase more to hopefully add some friends for him.
