Excellent adhesive to dash. I mean it's a steel ball, it's round, heavy and atracts the phone mount. Took excessive amount of time to ship but product is excellent.

I forgot when i bought my other one but could swear the base was smaller. The base is a bit wide, and maybe it needs to be but i was hoping it was a bit smaller than my existing one. There aren't many spots where i could mount this too and sure enough on of my cars, i ended up not installing this because it didn't fit anywhere on the radio bezel. It does not stick to the dashboard, i think because the surface is porous / not smooth. I ended up using it on the same vehicle that i already had one of these, but placed it in a better location.Def better than the vent mounts. Those end up scratching the area around the vent and i had a set of vents fall apart by pressing hard to engage the spring clip. I like the idea, but which the balls came in smaller size. The magnet size also provides a little hole and i use it to hold the phone for some grip, so it's a win / win for me.

I would have given 5 stars, but I think they should make it more clear that you will need to purchase additional items for this to be functional. It is labeled as a "kit" which led me to believe everything you need is included, but in fact, there are more pieces you will need to purchase.However, once you do have all the pieces and have it mounted on your dash board, this thing is amazing! I had another very similar holder for my phone and it wasn't working. But this phone mount is just awesome! It sticks on my dash extremely well. And I have it mounted vertically. The one I had before this kept falling when I would hit a big bump, but this one has not fallen one time. Also, the magnet part is very strong. The quality of this product is real nice and I feel good about it holding my phone in place so I won't ever have to search the floor of my car for my phone again. I highly recommend. I have even bought this as a gift for my father already. This thing is amazing!

I drive truck and this is the most stable mount I've used. I use my phone with waze as my GPS. Most suction mounts shake too much and the vent clip mounts cause my phone to run too cold or too hot. The adhesive tape is pretty good but it doesn't last but six months. I've had to use Loctite to remount it. Still the best of the phone mounts I've used sense the bag phone lol
