I have combination skin. oily t-zone, sort of dry cheeks. Does this cleanser work at removing excess oils or does it not remove any at all?

I would say it definitely removes excess oils, it leaves my skin feeling sort of stripped (not in a harsh way though if that makes sense?) and really ready to absorb the treatments and serums I use in my face they feel like they just sink right in and I really like that.

Should the face be dampened first before applying the cleanser or just the hands?

It is better to make foam in your hands.

Is this the recently renewed vegan version?
