They loud. Perfect for motorcycle or truck.
Absolutely could not be happier in these. They get attention. Installed on touring motorcycle. Depending on your application, you may need to purchase a "dual horn relay" in order for both of these to work when utilizing motorcycle stock horn wiring otherwise both horns will not play together with the new amp draw demand on stock wiring. Will be buying a set for my trucks city horn. They seem to be of good sturdy quality.

Great sounding product for the $$.$$
Excellent replacement Hi-Low tone horns for the money. My 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 high tone horn stop working so I was stuck with a single weak low tone horn. There size made them easy to mount, easy to wire, and sounded great. I’m sure these horns will outlive the vehicle as they appear well made and my truck has over 200,000 miles on it. I recommend this product for any factory horn replacement.

Difficult to install on a motorcycle
This product came with nothing but the two horns. No wires or installation instructions, not even a website to refer to. This may be a plug and play for a car but not for a motorcycle. I tried installing on a 2006 Suzuki C90T motorcycle. One horn worked great but when I hooked both up, I blew a 15-amp fuse. After some online research, a phone call to the manufacturer in Canada I found out I need a 4-pin auxiliary relay. After more research and talking to mechanic friends and several attempts to wire the 4-pin relay, I cannot get this thing wired up. End result: I'm using the low horn in the kit, and I have about $50 in a relay, assorted connectors, wire and tape that I'm not using. When I used both horns that one time I blew the fuse, they sounded great. Even the single horn sounds good. With the right application and someone that knows what they're doing, these would work just fine. I did find out that each horn pulls 11.5 amps. Beware that if you order these horns, you're on your own when it comes to installation. Especially on a motorcycle.

Well Made Quality Product 4 My Unusual Application ...
Finally after 20yrs my personally built custom show bike has a definitive sound instead of the weak 'meepmeep' (lol). The only reason was larger styles never fit anywhere quite right as appearance makes or breaks the eye candy of a show bike and since the horns hardly ever used an upgrade was only on the back burner. BUT here I gave these Hellas a try while I was doin some other lil mods and glad I did. The main deal was to find the perfect spot (trumpets are same overall thou thicker - thats usually the issue on bikes) thou once found that perfect spot, the sound after hookup is the next hurdle. Only used the "hi" tone of the pair in my app due to space limitations but its all that was needed. When I tried the "lo" first - nope, was a dreary drone and only hoped the "hi" wasnt tooooo high - so relieved it was like perfect (pitch and loudness) ! For me the cost to use only one far out-weighed the use of a 'meepmeep'. SO - as for bikes - recommend em, dont pass on em, thats IF u have the space - the brackets needed a bit modded but hey - the bike heres only that - everything from stem to stern is a personal modification ... what no pic (lol) - maybe when time allows which doesnt happen to be now.

VERY LOUD!!
This was one of the best safety upgrades I've done on my 06 Honda Shadow Aero. The stock horns can barely be heard by anyone. I'm sure if I need to use my horn now, it will get attention. very easy to install, a couple pigtails and was working great. thank you, I'll feel safer knowing I can now be heard.

'16 Suby Outback plug & Play easy instal
Like some comments, disliked my "Meemp Meemp" sound on my 16 Subaru Outback. Know Hella's quality, and the dual trumpet horns Step Up the Sound Character of the Suby. Actually Plug & Play, buy my access to insall the horns takes little more time. Suby Outback horns are on each side just above the front fog lights. The OEM horns have one (+) terminal because the center horn mounting stud is the ground. The new horn center mounting studs, are internally not grounded, so you have have to add a (-) ground jumper. I made up a 10" wire jumper and bolted to the horn center stud when mounting. (New wire use's frame to ground.) Than jack the other end to any terminal on the horn using a female spade coupler. The original OEM (+) wire plugs onto the other terminal. Suby has (+) terminal wire on each side, no need to jumper positive to other side. To access horn, pop the 5 plastic buttons just underneath each side of the front bumper Only, and bend each side end splash polyethelyene panel back, and duck tape out of the way. Tight squeeze, unplug the (+) terminal, and use 10mm wrench to remove center stud on OEM horn. They're tight, (use WD-40). Takes a little time , nut is torrqued tight. Once they're jacked in, hit the horn on the steering wheel. FANTASTIC ! Fold the front side end splash panels back, an pop in the plastic buttons. This access takes a little time because the space is tight, otherwise you have to remove the entire front grille, and entire front bumper for access. The New horn center nut is also torqued tight, I had to use vise grips locked onto the new mounting strip plate to unbolt, and use the OEM strip plates on the car. I did it myself, for a girl, I dont look like the typical manley mechanic, I know you can do this too. Took me about 3 hrs, only because the nut is so hard to get off in that tight space. Passenger side was the easiest. Enjoy your new car trumpet sound. Bella Dee

Calidad/Sonido excelente

💯 “Long Term Review (2026) 🚀 Powerful Sound & Zero Issues!”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I’m writing this review in 2026 after using the Hella Chrome Trumpet Horn Set for almost 5–6 years, and it’s still working perfectly without any issues. The sound is loud, clear, and very powerful — exactly what you expect from a premium horn. Even after years of regular use, there is no drop in performance or sound quality. Build quality is excellent. The chrome finish still looks good and hasn’t degraded much over time. It proves how durable and reliable this product is. Installation was simple, and once fitted, it has been completely hassle-free. No maintenance issues at all. Overall, if you’re looking for a long-lasting, powerful horn, this is a one-time investment product. Highly recommended!
