Awesome salsa. Not watery at all. Make sure you mix it after opening tho. The flavor is great and it's got some good heat

Flavor wise, I think this salsa is on point. The reason for the two stars is due to the hotness. No, no, its not too hot, there isn't any heat at all. When something is labeled hot, I expect to be reaching for a glass of milk or feeling at a minimum actually noticing that my mouth and insides are warmer than usual. Won't buy this brand again.

Item arrives broken with no option for replacement. Will not buy again. Very disappointed as this was a gift.

This is the best salsa I've ever had hands down. I originally bought it on the east coast when I found it inside a Southampton supermarket (though it is made in El Paso I believe). I thought of it while trying some home made salsa prepared by a friend. What is great about it is its wide variety of peppers that creates a flavor making it very difficult to put down. Unlike some salsas, it sticks to the chip and looks just as appetizing as it tastes.

It burns so good

It has a complex depth of flavor, but it is not "diablo hot." I am not a sissy gringo, who likes his salsa medium. This is medium salsa. 2 stars.

Pros: (1) Many salsas listed as hot are actually mild. This is not mild, it's at least medium (as others on here say) it tastes like generic chili powder, not that spicy, but there is a tingle of spiciness in the aftertaste. (2) Pretty good taste at room temperature. So a great choice for a party where you're going to be using the whole jar at once. (3) Better / more sophisticated than most major salsa brands you will see on shelves. Cons: (1) Does not taste good cold. Salsas need to be refrigerated to be safe and the reality is lots of time salsa will be served cold, most salsa's have a less vibrant flavor when cold, but this salsa when cold is totally lifeless to my tastebuds! You really have to let it warm up to enjoy it. (2) If you're an American consumer like me, you're used to your jarred salsas being "salsa cruda" - that is, mostly vegetable chunks with some sauce. This is pretty much half sauce and half vegetables, which would be fine except the sauce is pretty boring. It's just tomato puree with generic chili powder, tastes like. (3) as others have mentioned, the label is not accurate. It's not hot.
