These towels don't absorb anything. The joke in our house is we've been calling these "Kardashian towels" because they sure are pretty but they really don't do much of anything. We updated our kitchen so I wanted to retire our old stained towels. I'm glad we didn't get rid of the old towels because these don't work. I just ordered a new set of the old towels because even if they aren't pretty, they work.

I was looking for some cotton towels for drying glasses to replace my fraying ones. These are pretty thin and a bit more open weave than I was hoping. They are ok for drying hands, but not very useful for drying dishes. After 1 wash they were no longer rectangular and they wrinkle and roll at the edges badly. I have now washed them several times and do not find them improved. I will say the colors are very pretty, so if they were to be used only for display they would be very nice.

I didn’t order these for thickness or for being wrinkle free. I knew what I was getting. I have thicker kitchen towels . But I wanted something to replace the big thick towels( to give my washing machine a break) we were using to dry the vegetables, fruit and other groceries after we give them the more intense Covid-19 washing.Like the colors. And they are quite absorbent for thin little things.

I've spent years looking for any kind of kitchen towel that wasn't a static-magnet, lint-free, I could dry my hands on, dry dishes with, lay my damp produce on, lay underneath a cutting board and drape over a large bowl. I've purchased and then tossed out many-a-towel purchased because they never worked out. I bought 5 different Now Design towels on 5 different occasions. The mallard, grey and yellow combo on 2 separate occasions. The strawberry design. Flour sack logo. Unbleached white.They do indeed feel a little weird and stiff when you first feel them because you have to wash them first! I put everything in a cold cycle and if it doesn't need to be line/flat dried it goes in the drier. No lint or wrinkling to speak of anywhere in my now clean laundry. They came out nice and soft and ready to be used. The larger size of these towels that can be laid completely over bowls or cutting boards.

I have purchased every solid color set they sell, I love these to use in my food photography business! These are very soft, larger size, and have gorgeous deeply pigmented colors. They wash well and just get softer and softer with each wash. I love them and tell everyone I know they need to buy them. They have the hanging loop that is very durable and well placed as well.

Disappointed that the colors in the image did NOT match the colors that I received - I got blue, pink & yellow... not the aqua, yellow and kacky/gray colors that were in the description photo. Otherwise - good towels. I would order more if I knew I would get the colors I wanted...

A while back, I bought a three pack of these flour sack towels at a local store. Have loved them so much they're basically see-through from use. Went back to the market to see if they, on the off chance, were still carrying them and...no dice.No to worry, though, I thought--Amazon carries everything. So I searched for the maker and the exact towel and voila they arrived on my doorstep a couple of days later..Except that other than the same label they're not even close to being the same towel. The ones from AMZN are smaller (purple towel is from original purchase, orange is from recent AMZN purchase), courser and poorer quality overall. Not a good drying towel at this size which was my purpose for buying them.Wowza. Nearly $4 a piece for a quality of cloth that maybe max retails for a buck in other places.

Would like to give 5 stars, but one out of three towels does not absorb water. I've washed the towel twice, no fabric softener, but it still won't dry my glassware, leaving water spots. The other two are great!

These towels are far more absorbant than most you buy. If "flour sackl" isn't part of their title on the label then chances are they might not be as absorbant, unless they are the thick-two ply ones.Double ply tea towels are very rarely found. You need a good absorbant hand towel to dry your hands or a dish and these flour sack towels do both quite nicely. They dry quicker as well and not like the others I've had that take hours on end to dry after every use.I'm very happy with these tea towels and would recommend them most definitely! Love the colors too!

The description in French (I am French speaking so I have my Amazon app in French) states that this is a set of 6 dish clothes. It came in a set of 3 si I though it was a mistake. I required a replacement set, thinking I would receive 6 dish cloths... unfortunately not. I called Amazon and asked them to repair their own translation mistake. I had to return these. I do not think it's a fair price for 3 items. I did not even try them.

These flour sack tea towels are exactly as shown and described. Like all flour sacks they will absorb water and remain damp while drying dishes. Like any other good towel. I like the quality and colours available. Nice set to go with my dish cloths.

One towel arrived with a stain that remained after washing. These are the thinnest Floursack towels I have ever seen. Just slightly heavier than gauze. Don't know about absorbency yet but I expect these will not last long.

Using these tea towels reminds me of drying dishes standing beside my Mom in the pre-dishwasher days. Absolutely love them - and they wash up beautifully. Nice and thin - not like the waffle tea towels. Also great for covering your home-made bread while it rises or any other baking.
