You know the word 'optical' hints at the fact that audio is transmitted using optical (light) signals, right? So why on earth would you spend your money on an OPTICAL cable that has GOLD PLATING? It makes ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE TO AUDIO QUALITY! It literally CAN NOT make a difference because the thing that carries the audio signal is NOT MADE OF METAL (usually glass or plastic) and can not benefit whatsoever from gold plating except for corrosion resistance, which again is not needed because the signal carrier in Toslink cables is NOT A METAL TO BEGIN WITH so there's NOTHING TO CORRODE! Stay away from expensive utter garbage products like this and just get a cheapo, sub 200 Rs Toslink optical cables with plastic connectors that will do the EXACT SAME THING as this cable.
