I love these Hefty Slider Freezer Kitchen Storage Bags in the Quart Size. They are safe and so easy to use. We use these Hefty Slider Freezer bags in the gallon size for so many things. When we buy deli lunch meat on sale, my wife portions it out and freezes in one of these bags. Therefore, there are generally bags of salami, good deli pepperoni, ham and turkey breast in the freezer. She can just grab whatever she plans to make for my lunch, thaw overnight and there's never been a lack of freshness. We like to take advantage of the deli deal that Safeway often has on Fridays, where you can get a pound of their best meats and cheeses for $5 a lb. Another way we use these bags is to contain all the open packages of various size batteries that used to be rolling around in a big drawer. Now, each type has their own bag. When I need a couple AA batteries - boom, there they are. My wife sometimes freezes cookies in these bags, and will often utilize them for marinating meats or veggies to grill. The only freezer bags I buy now. Easy open and closure. It is a bit thin and easy to poke through with pointy stuff like shrimp head but some held up pretty well with wash and reuse. Overall made meal prep so much easier. Keeping it on subscription.
