The smell is amazing, and it does go milky when mixed with water on the skin. It leaves the skin very soft and hydrated. A bottle has lasted a really decent amount of time and I will definitely buy it again.

No foam as other shower oils have had and the oily residue left made the bath super slippery. On the plus side, smells amazing and moisturises beautifully.

there is no lovely oil to milk texture, just a very runny liquid. Ended up using the whole bottle, 250ml, to shower and get clean.

Absolutely love this body oil wash leaves skin feeling soft and smooth love the smell as well. Loved it soo much I've brought another one for me and a friend and she loves it too.

This shower oil sounded great as I love Polynesian aromas, especially frangipani and coconut. I liked that it was cruelty free, paraben free and made with a high level of natural ingredients. When the bottle arrived I thought it looked ordinary at best and, to be honest, quite cheap. I did think the fragrance was nice but seemed to mainly consist of coconut. That is not a problem as I like it but it was not quite as I had imagined. I realise this is a shower oil, as opposed to a gel, but the consistency is very liquid and when I squeezed the bottle lots of oil came out. You do actually need quite a bit each time so the bottle will not last long. The details state that there is an oil to milk texture and this is very definitely not the case, if anything it is oil to water! The oil seemed to be a reasonably effective body cleanser but the aroma was nowhere near strong enough when using and quickly disappeared. Overall, I found this shower oil to be very disappointing. The packaging was ordinary, the oil was far too liquid, the fragrance, although nice to start with, didn’t last long at all. Although the price seems very reasonable, the fact that you need to use so much means that there is pretty poor value for money too. I find it a real shame as I was expecting something so much better.

I already had the body oil from the range - I love both, my favourite fragrances, and good quality product. Arrived no spillage/damage. Recommend....

Not much lather but feel nice on skin

Shower oils are one of those inbetween products that's both cleansing and moisturising usually with a texture that becomes soapy and emolient in the shower, getting your body clean but leaving the skin feeling smoothed instead of being stripped of natural oils. Unfortunately this Prenaturals Shower Oil does neither of those things, it doesn't create a cleansing lather or leave your skin feeling particularly moisturised but instead leaves it feeling oily. Although it's a very light oil it hardly emulsifies with water and so doesn't sink into the skin as you'd expect and just leaves you to emerge from the shower feeling a bit greasy. To get it to really lather or emulsify you have to use huge amounts of it so it's very wasteful. If it was marketed as an in-shower moisturiser which you apply to semi-wet skin after washing and then massage in, then it might make some sense (although it's still a bit too oily) but to describe it as a cleansing shower oil doesn't work. It's a real shame because it smells really lovely and it should be much more of a pleasure to use than it is.
