Finally found authentic sweet Hungarian paprika from Hungary! I have not had a chance to make Hungarian paprikas yet but it is truly red. We did use it for making sausage and it was delicious. It comes in a pretty little cloth bag although I have to admit I miss the tin container.

You can immediately tell this is high-quality paprika from Hungary. Excellent nose, colour, and taste. Well packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. I usually keep an adequate supply of Rubin or Hódi in the pantry but somehow managed to get caught short. I'd already ordered the meat for a batch of kolbász when I discovered that I didn't have enough paprika. You guys had the shortest delivery time and didn't disappoint. The shipping time was fantastic as was the product. Belfast wouldn't normally be on my list of places to find good paprika but it is now.

Perfect taste and color. And it does come in a form of a lose powder and not as a vacuumed brick, as did lately the spicy version that was a complete let down. I do hope, that they drop this method instantly and come back to old fashioned lose powder in a sack. It was perfect until someone came up with the idea like once did a guy at Coca Cola changing the recipe to "New Coke"...lol
