I love this scalp scrub. Not sure how other people are using it but I shampoo my hair first with regular shampoo, than I use one spoonful of the scrub (the spoon it comes with) larger it up and I use one of the plastic hair scrubbers, o I deep condition my hair for about half an hour and my hair is like new. It smells great, a little but is all you need. I always wash my hair in the kitchen sink and I don’t see that this product makes a mess. What may work for me may not work for others but I would say give it a try.

I looked at the reviews here before I bought it. I have never used a scalp scrub before I ordered it and got it the next day. You don’t need a lot. I color treat my hair and use a lot of styling products so yes, build up. This stuff left my scalp feeling super clean! And no residue or crud left over no flaking or itching. Great stuff!!!

At first, I was unsure about this scrub, as it was different than I expected it to be. The smell also isn’t my favorite, but I’ve gotten used to it, and it’s worth it for how well it cleans my scalp! The application is a bit more tedious than you expect it to be, but it leaves my scalp super clean and free of dandruff, as well as making my hair softer, and silky. I’ve struggled with a dry scalp for a while, to the point I always had flakes in my hair, but now I barely see a speck and it’s amazing. I recommend using it consistently in the beginning to tame your scalp, and to receive the best results. I applied the scrub slowly so it took a bit for the results to appear, but after I applied it consistently I saw faster results. Once you get going with a routine application your scalp will be left cleansed and free of dandruff, and stay that way even after not applying for days at a time (I try to apply twice a week, as it instructs on the packaging). I also don’t get as much build-up as I used to when I skip washing my hair one or sometimes two days in a row! I’d say I’m a happy customer and just purchased this scrub for a second time ;). It also lasts for a long period of time. I first purchased this scrub in January and just recently ran out. I use a larger amount when applying because of my thick hair, yet it still lasted! The tub it comes in holds a lot more than you’d think.

Cleans hair and smells great. Great product for sensitive scalp ( even with psoriasis). Rinses out for hair that feels clean for days. Love this product for days I have been working outside and want to cleanse hair thoroughly. This product does not strip hair , leaves it just feeling clean

Smells like furniture polish

Wow.....wow is all I can say!! Despite being brand new and wrapped in shrink wrap, my jar is only 40% full. I have yet to use the product, so I'm not so sure about its quality, but to have paid over $18 for a not even half full product has me kinda livid!!

I personally mix mine with my favorite shampoo. My sister was a beautician and though she was 17 years my senior, she taught me how to properly care for my long hair. Always condition an inch to an inch and a half away from the scalp when washing your scalp-ALWAYS!!! Anything that far from the scalp is prone to breakage and split ends. You only need to wash the scalp and that inch to inch and a half where the oils build up. If you do a double wash like beauticians give you, your hair only needs to be washed twice a week. I've met so many people who didn't know how to do this. Every time I get my hair trimmed (6-8 years) to donate because it's to long not due to damage. Rarely has my hair had split ends. Overwashing, too many chemicals are just bad in general for your hair, and overheating also adds to split ends. Dry with a cotton t-shirt, your hair will thank you 😊

This scrub is not easy to apply to your scalp if you have thick hair. It smells good, but it’s not super useful for thick hair.
