I was the scarecrow from wizard of oz for halloween and this was a great alternative to buying those super expensive costumes that get worn once for a few hours. Definitely some great savings!

It completed my Pumpkin Person costume
Needed straw for a very specific costume. I was making a costume to be a pumpkin person from Over the Garden Wall for Halloween! This was perfect to give the illusion of straw coming out from under the costume. The neck piece is a bit weak and the stitches started coming out when I was taking it on and off. But for a pretty cheap Halloween accessory set, it got the job done.

Easy costume
I was pleased to find the taffeta for the neck and wrists didn't end up feeling scratchy. The hat fit as well. I added my husband's flannel shirt with some warm pants and it ended up being a warm costume for a chilly Halloween night.
