It was difficult to install but definitely worth the trouble, saving hundreds of dollars installing this as opposed to replacing the tank. The most difficult part was threading the string from the bottom of the tank to the top. You also need a valve stem removal tool, the kind you use on a bike. After install it works perfectly.

It works great. Instructions were a bit confusing as others have stated. I did use the white nylon “retainer” under the black rubber seal washer. Took a couple of hours to do. My wife and I, mid 70’s did it ourselves. We also replaced some plumbing, installed a drain, and replaced the pressure switch to the tank.

Compared to the original bladder in my wm-12 tank, this bladder is of much thinner material. I am unsure iif this makes any difference. More of a problem, that per the product description this bladder shoudl fit several different tank models, including my wm-12. The bladder clearly cannot be installed on a WM-12, it will not span the 2 mount points. It is 5-7 inches shorter than the original bladder, and because of this, it cannot be installed. No idea who makes this, does not look like an oem oart. Fortunately, I am still within my return window.

Replacing in a tank that size is a two-person job, but the badder was in perfect shape, and went in well.

The product was perfect, but the installation instructions lacked pertinent information. For example: "If you have an older tank, there's no need to remove your tank from the water supply line." There was no definition for "older". The result is EVERYONE must disassemble their existing plumbing, even if it's not necessary. This was the hardest part and easily added at least two hours to the job. I'm a DIY guy with little plumbing experience, so I tend to take things slow to get it right. It took me four hours to finish this bladder replacement job. The instructions also recommended a second person for a couple of tasks like removal of the old bladder and insertion of the new one. Good advice, but I managed to do it myself since I had no choice. But it came out great. Important tip: Before you shut off your water, fill a couple of 5-gallon buckets/bottles with water. You'll need them to clean parts/hands while your faucets don't work. Cheers!

No matter the brand, eventually the bladder in your well bladder tank is going to start leaking. It’s nice to know that I’ve got insurance stored inside my house for when that eventually happens.

This Air cell / Bladder worked very well. It had all the parts and pieces to get my water pressure tank back to working order. Its part of the home projects that I do not enjoy doing, but must be done.
