HORUSDY 3-IN-1 Hot Wire Foam Cutter, Foam Cutter Electric Cutting Machine Pen Tools Kit

I bought this cutter after using one at a workshop. It works great to cut foam. I played with it first before attempting to do a big project. I liked how it cut. The wire gets very hot, so it makes it easy to cut into the foam. I hope to make a lot of things. It's super easy to use. You should practice on scraps first though.

Well, it feels cheap and that's because it is... BUT it works every time and heats up fast. The plunge cut tips were ok, but the bow shaped hot wire cuts pink insulation foam like a champ. I used it to cut pieces for a 24th scale indoor RC crawler course.

The long corer tool cannot support sideways motion and broke off at the handle upon first use. The short engraving tool only gets hot at its tip. The hot wire ‘tensioner’ barely gets hot enough, the wire doesn’t remain straight, and doesn’t cut straight unless you move it so slowly that it melts everything along its path. All in all, a complete bust.

it does the job very neat. i tried doing it with scissors or a blade before (worst mess ever). the only downside is you have to be really careful when detaching the different tools because they come apart and break easy and also, to attach them to the cutter is a little hard.

Plugged in and worked just fine for what it is. Hot wire heated up in a few seconds. Probe type cutters took a bit longer but seemed to get hot enough at the tip to slice through lightweight styrofoam without effort. Would not expect this to work as well on heavy construction grade styrofoam or polyethelene foam, but perhaps with a bit of patience. For the money and convenience this product seems to be a great value and perfectly functional.

This thing works great its a little flimsy but it does the job. Wish it had some indicator lights on it to let you know when its hot but other then that great buy.

I got this for some Halloween decorations I was working on and it worked fine but the build quality was not great ended up breaking on of the tools.

This thing rocks. I got it to cut pink foam for dioramas. First time using a wire cutter and it performed exactly as expected. There are probably better options out there but this one did what it was suppose to do perfectly.

Worked well, delivered before promised, and works well as required. All the tools are working and received everything in the box.
