Disk was cracked from center to outer edge (1/4" wide X 5-6" long ) . Bowls Outstanding quality. While I would like to exchange disk, unable due to need 4 bowls.

These are gorgeous! Beautifully milled and finished, wash up easily with soap and water (dry them well before storing!), and very generously sized. You can serve a LOT of food with these: perfect for a gathering. They're beautiful with any decor. The set arrived really well wrapped and protected in it's own product box, shipped inside an Amazon shipper box, so they were in perfect condition: no chips, cracks or warping. The layer of bark around the circumference has been smoothed somewhat, so there's no flakey bark bits to get into your food. This was a spur- of- the- moment, "unnecessary" purchase, that I brooded over making initially. But when the set arrived and I saw the quality of design and manufacture, I knew I'd made the right decision! It really is an incredible value for such beautiful craftsmanship, and the size of the components. I donated the plastic serving set I've used for years, and will now be happily serving friends and family from this set for years to come.

Looks really nice, but you will get ONE use out of the items. After you clean them, the wood will crack, all the way through. Your bowls will be useless.

I used some birthday money to purchase this set which replaced the random bowls I used for serving before. I LOVE THIS SET! We've entertained twice and both times this set was a point of conversation and admired for it beauty and functionality. It's truly beautiful and perfect for chips, salsa, and guacamole, which is what I served and then used the platter to hold a tray of hot chicken quesadillas. I will buy from this company again.

I loved the look of these peices but one of them had dead bugs and holes all over it (I've never delt with termites but that's what I suspect is the cause)

This is an EXCELLENT set and I highly recommend both the product and the company! I used the tray as a cake stand for a three triple layered tiered wedding cake. It worked out perfectly, was sturdy and gave a great look and feel to the trendy "naked" cake. I will definitely buy again from this company! I gave the entire set as a wedding gift, and it was a hit! Thanks again!

WOW These are gorgeous I bought these for a Shakespeare feast at my children's school! All the mom's wanted them! They are awesome.
