What is the size of the bolts? Will they fit ok or will I have to cut them down a bit?

The length is .21" (5.34mm) and the diameter is .053" (1.35mm). I used an undersize micro drill for the holes and didn't need the included nuts but will add them at some point to be more secure. You will need to bend the front edge to a radius so it wraps down the fender. I used a piece of wood and 1 1/2" diameter steel pipe in a vice to shape them and they look great.

That’s it for a defender

I like it I just had to remove the inner fenders then used tape to hold it in place while I used a paper clip heated to punch the holes.
