This is used for cleaning whatever needs to be scraped out. From flowerpots and old canisters to litterboxes, it does a great job. It's not used for food items that will be eaten but would work well for any of those jobs too. We're very satisfied with its quality.

First I love stainless steel.My family use a lot of ice this is the right size,we kept breaking the plastic ones.

Got the 9.5" and it seems to work OK.Handle does have a nice curve to it, but it's not particularly well balanced -- there's definitely far more weight in the scoop than the handle.The handle feels short and is more appropriately sized for a child than an adult.
