This one is my cats favorite.

I have purchased this on Amazon 86 times and who knows how many times at my local pet store and chewy since 2013. It has been almost always consistent. I rotate it with other food so my cat doesn't get sick of it. My cat is almost 13 years old and healthy weight.

I've fed this food to both my cats and dogs for over 20 years now. I like it because they reliably eat it day after day, it's a good value, and it has consistently given my animal companions a long life. The German Shepherd in my life right now, Nemo, is 12 years old and 110 pounds. Yesterday he saw a puppy friend in the park and they went tearing off across the park playing. The puppy's owner said, "I can't believe it. Nemo still runs like a puppy." My cat is 16 with no ailments whatsoever. I recommend this food for any much-loved companion animal to whom you want to give the best possible chance for a long, happy, healthy life.

I’ve been buying Wellness Beef and Chicken pate for my cat for about five years. She has some digestion issues and this food has served her well. The last batch has not really been pate. It is very liquid. My vet wants my cat to eat pate because it has more food value. I guess it tastes the same because she eats it, but she’s eating more. This is not good. Please watch the quality control or relabel the cans. This is not pate.

UPDATE: I know some people have experienced unreliable quality issues but I just want to tell the story of the reverse. I recently ran out of wet food one day without realizing it so I had to go to the pet supply store near me which is quite good and I actually would like to support them but Wellness is like 50% cheaper on Amazon! Anyway, I bought a box of these cans at this reputable pet supply store where I've bought it every so often and my cats barely picked at the wet food throughout that whole supply they mostly just ate the dry food. I would open a can and they would come over and sniff indifferently. When those cans ran out I had ordered more from Amazon and it was a good batch, I could tell, it seemed juicier, and they have been devouring it happily. So, my point is these off-batches seem to end up everywhere but my most recent Amazon batch was a good one. ORIGINAL REVIEW This is what we feed our three cats along with Wellness dry food. They eat it and they are in good health. I think taste-wise they prefer the cheap stuff- maybe it's like junk food to them- they don't devour the Wellness quite so fast but it seems to do the job. No complaints.

This past month, Stinky has been loving the Beef and Chicken flavor. Next month, it might be something different. However, I only buy Wellness wet food for her and at 17, she is in great health. I have to partially attribute it to the food she eats! Of course wet food doesnt smell good but this one isnt that bad. It sure smells better than the crappy carb and by product filled, other brands. If you as a human wont eat by products, why feed them to your cat? Just dont. Wellness has no by products and is grain free. Both are essential to a cats good health.

I can't 100% say this was the reason but I should have done better research. Our cat just got home from the hospital due to having a urinary blockage. And for some reason even though Wellness brand is a great quality cat food, this brand has caused hundreds of pet owner's cats urinary problems. I only feel like this is true because our cat was doing great with his other food and then him being on this for a month and a half seems to have caused crystals in his bladder.

The All About Cats channel on Youtube did a review on the best least expensive pet food and we are so glad I watched that. I mix this wet wellness food she recommended with Kirkland dry which is working perfectly. They both cost more but I'm giving smaller portions as I divide the little cans into 4 portions and he eats it all every time and is totally satisfied. Im guessing its like when we eat junk food and stay hungry because of the lack of necessary nutrients. I snuck in some of his old cat food and he rejected it and once threw it up. Just ordered another case.

Kittens love it . I do water it down so the kittens can eat it easily. My older cats won't eat it - too set un their ways.

All 3 cats love it...too much. They do not leave me alone in the morning or evening until I feed them.
