Fast arrival, works perfectly
My 2017 samsung fridge wasn't cooling but freezer underneath was fine. Open the inside back panel and my fan had a loose wire and a toasted connector. Order this replacement, arrived quickly. Easy install and has worked fine. Will update if any change.

It worked for my Samsung Refrigrator
My Samsung Refridgrator stopped cooling as the fan was not working. I checked the Samsung website for the replacement and on that the fan was listed for aprox $100+ so I checked on Amazon the same kind of fan was listed for $20. I opted for this one as replaced the old one with this one.So far the fan is working fine but a little bit more noiser than the previous one. Lets see how long it is going to last but this one is cheap and if this one goes bad I will order the same one again.

Solid replacement but not truly OEM
My Samsung RF28HFEDBSR started having issues when the evaporator fan died and the coils were covered in ice. The freezer was still holding temperature, but the fridge section climbed to around 60F, so I knew something was wrong. I found a how-to video on YouTube, unplugged everything, and let the unit fully defrost for about 24 hours before starting the repair. Once it was ready, I pulled the shelves and removed the back panel to reach the fan. The replacement dropped right in with the same size and connector, so there was no guesswork. The swap itself only took a few minutes, which was a relief after the defrost time. After putting everything back together, the fridge cooled down quickly and has been running like normal again. It has now been working great for the last few days with no strange noises or issues. One thing to note is that it claims to be OEM, but it is actually an aftermarket part, which is a bit misleading. That said, it still works well and solved the problem. I’m giving this 4 stars because I would still consider buying it again.

Perfect fit, reliable operation and easy installation. Very impressive
Exactly the part I needed, perfect fit, and a good value. I imagine I could have bought the fan separately, and wrapped some foam insulation around it for maybe half the price, but samsung wants over $150 for the same part, which is essentially a PC case fan. It operates silently so far, although thew refrigerator seemed to chill down more slowly with the new fan than it did when the old fan was in working order. I'm not sure if this relates to the RPMs of the original vs this part, but this works and saved me big bucks. Installation was simple, rewquiring relatively straight forward refrigerator disassembly - more a comment on Samsung and their treatment of this part as a consumable, to be replaced relatively frequently - but the fact is it's simple to install so do not be deterred by the prospect of appliance repair at least in this case.

It's the exact same fan as the stock fan
The Samsung refrigerator I own is notorious for having the cooling unit located in the back of the fridge ice up to the point where the fan becomes encased in ice. This has happened at least twice before and usually happens when the fridge is not opened for an extended period of time (2-3 months). We returned to our year-round home from our summer home to find that it had happened once again. I had to kill the circuit breaker to the fridge and take a hair dryer to the back panel to get the ice melted enough to get the panel off. I found the cooling fan entirely encased in ice then defrosted it only to find out that, this time, the fan had burned out. If your fridge doesn't seem to be keeping the contents cold enough there's a very good chance that this fan is burned out. I had the temp for the fridge set at 34 degrees F and the temperature sensor showed it never got below 55 degrees (there are some very good how-to vids on YouTube for how to remove and replace the fan). Amazon delivered the new fan overnight and I installed it today. It is the exact same fan that came with the fridge. Same manufacturer, same fan. I had to remove 4 screws to remove the plastic bracket that held the old fan and then, very gently, removed it from the plastic casing. I used a hair dryer to warm up the plastic casing before I removed the fan as I was concerned it might break due to the fact that is was very cold. Do yourself a huge favor and do not remove the old fan until you're absolutely certain of its orientation. It might be a good idea to take several pictures, or make a movie, of the old fan before you remove it. I got the fan installed, attached the wires to power, and within a few hours my fridge was running very cold again - 34 degrees F. Start to finish it's around a 15-20 minute job to replace the fan (not including the time it takes to defrost your fridge).

Fan not compatible with Samsung RF28R7351SG/AA refrigerator.
I purchased this fan for the Samsung RF28R7351SG/AA refrigerator. Per the description, this fan should fit this fridge. Unfortunately, this fan does not fit. It is completely different model and it has a different power connector as well. The evaporator located behind the bottom freezer food compartment. According to Samsung, the part # DA31-00287A is a correct replacement, however this fan is completely different.

This thing is noisy: Update: New one is working great !!
Okay, I have an update. The seller replaced the noisy fan (sent me a new one) and there was no hassle !!! Great customer service !!! I've gotten real good at swapping out the fan now, so installation is no problem. The fan is very quiet and hope it solves our freeze up problem. I would recommend this seller to anyone needing this type of product !!! Will do business with them in the future if the need arises. Thank You NEXJY !!! It is not as easy to install as it seems. But it's not impossible either. The fan is very noisy right now as it is running for the first time. We are hoping that it quiets down after a few times. Will update after a bit. The item arrived quickly tho, so the seller is punctual. It is the correct part so that is also nice.
