Helen Chen's Asian Kitchen 4-Inch Bamboo Steamers, Set of 2

There is only two grills, I'm not sure why I expected more, but there it is. On peeking back at the pictures and descriptions, some photos looks like this should be three or four, but that's a misconception from the shot they took. In fact, each rack is two bamboo panel high. Which makes sense once you see the product in the real... not so much up here.Outside from this, it's close to perfect. The racks themselves are sturdy and you shouldn't have any problems cleaning them if you follow the instruction. (You're supposed to cover the racks with some sort of paper to avoid food sticking into the bamboo.) It's fun to use and it can be stored after each use with only minimal care. Since it got there, it's already been used three times in two weeks. The wife and I are already planning to do more experiments. Steaming stuff is perfect for the hot summer since you can cook all elements of a meal using only one stove heater.My only real complaint is with the top cover. For some dumb reason, it's not reversible. Which means that, being concave instead of convex, it cuts the space in half for the rack having it on. Of course, one can settle this by putting it upside down, but then... the rim is too small to correctly insert with the racks' lid! It does kinda works as long as it is just put on, but you have to be careful when moving it; since the top could freely slide at any moment.I thought it could be popped upward at first, but the the bamboo struts holding the basket cover are way too solid for this to feel safe to do without breaking the whole thing appart. Also, after only three uses, two of theses rigid struts are already less firmly glued and it has been necessary to push them back into place. Now this doesn't prevent functionality, but considering the price for two racks only, it feels a bit cheap that the engineer behind that design didn't thought people would reverse the cover in such a way as to save space inside instead of outside while in use.In any case, a great addition to any kitchen! (Aluminum churn sold separately! But can be put on nearly any other wok or pots.)

I recently purchased Helen’s Asian Kitchen Bamboo Food Steamer, and I love it!It is made of high-quality bamboo, which not only looks beautiful but also feels sturdy and durable. I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into making this steamer. The two-tier design allows me to cook multiple items simultaneously, saving me time in the kitchen. Steaming retains and I've noticed that my dishes taste fresher when cooked in this steamer.I purchased the metal steamer ring separately which I am glad I did so because it ensures the basket will stay nice and sturdy on top of my pot. I just fill the bottom of a large pot with water, place the food in the bamboo baskets, and let the steam work its magic. The dumplings I made were cooked pretty quickly and did not stick to the bamboo. Considering the quality, versatility, and health benefits it offers, I believe this steamer is worth every penny!

Ótimo utensílio. As câmaras e tampa, fecham bem segurando boa parte do vapor. O bambu não tolera sabão ou detergente, mas não ficou com cheiro (estou lavando apenas com água e uma bucha).
