There is no better filter available for my 2007 Rabbit. Check with BITOG (Bob is the oil guy) for ANY oil/filter related questions, no matter the vehicle.

Very best quality oil filter on the market ,bar none .Was suggested by a very knowledgeable import mechanic that said it actually exceeds the VW OEM filters in several aspects.Perfect fit and will buy this brand from now on and at a fair price.

OE quality. Mann is the filter manufacturer for VAG (VW/Audi). The filter I received was made in Brazil .vs Germany!

OEM Filters - good price, exactly what Audi uses at the factory
I tend to keep cars for a long time so maintenance is important to me. My Audi came from the factory with Castrol 5W-40 Synthetic oil and a mann filter installed. While I think there are some decent filter makers out there, Mann is German. My Audi is German. QED... The kit includes the filter and the all-important rubber gasket (complete with a little tab so you can pull it out of the filter holder). You will need a few tools to change your oil since the filters are in a plastic canister that needs a 36MM socket to unscrew safely. Plus, the canister is full of dirty oil so you need a hard to find $50 drain tool. And you need a torque wrench to put the canister back on to the 25.5 Newton Meters torque specified by Audi. But once you have all that, the filter fits perfectly and does what a filter does! Good luck... And make sure to wear gloves - dirty oil is a health hazard.

WARNING - CHECK THE GASKET!
UPDATE: It was my own stupid fault, I'll be first to admit. I had ordered the /8x filter, when I really needed the /6x filter. The filters themselves are the same - just different gaskets. I ordered it via a "work" rewards type site, so didn't get the "this does not fit your car" warning that I would have got if I'd ordered direct on Amazon. Reverted review to 5 stars, because it works as well as OEM for half the price. I have used this filter many times in the past and it's been perfect. However, the latest purchase came with a WHITE rubber o-ring gasket. I assumed that it was an "upgraded" part, more fool me - it actually leaks. I've done oil changes all my life and this is the first ever time this has happened. BE AWARE - if it comes with a white gasket, DO NOT USE it, it needs to be the black one with the tab. I've no idea why this was messed up, but it lost about 2 liters of oil in a day, so if I hadn't checked, it's likely the engine would have seized. I had to run to get a new filter and gasket from the dealer. While this filter doesn't deserve one star, I figures it'd get the most views if I rated it one star... the filter itself is 5 stars for value, just CHECK THE GASKET!
