Easy to go off, but fixable
I stalled on my life vest for the boat. They are easy to trigger in rain. Over the probes with so tape to sheild from rain. But made so bottom wasnt sealed so would trigger if you were in water

Exactly what I needed for my Mustang Survival Float Coat life preservers! In the photos you can see I mounted it on the shoulder. I ended up getting another one for my spouse's jacket. I read that they can go off unexpectedly, but I've been in heavy rain and water spray and it hasn't happened yet. I couldn't find anything else like these. They're worth it if you ever go in at night.

Battery Not Replaceable
Worked as intended but only for a short time. Lasted less than a year and now can’t get it off toddler life jacket. Wish I could replace battery.

Good to have in case of emergency
Recently we took our boat from Miami to the Bahamas. We bought this device in case of emergency. Thankful we didn’t use it but it gave peace of mind while traveling!

Well made, bright light even in the day. As many have said, the sensors trigger rather easily. Even when affixing the device onto the webbing and my fingers touched the probe, it lighted up. I'm in Singapore and humidity is rather high, so u can imagine that moisture of perspiration off my finger can trigger the strobe. Is it a bad thing? Well I would think that its not because then I'm sure when it does hit the water, it will trigger rather quickly. And yes it lights up instantly with not much delay
