Simple and Effective!
This fix a flat is simple to use in an emergency and effective to get you back on the road. This has saved me a couple times- one of which was in a full size truck which had larger tires.

Must have in your car
It will mess up the sensor in your tire but a must have in case you’re stranded and just need enough to get to a mechanic

Fix a Flat Aerosol.
Worked very well for my riding mower tires. They were leaking air, but not now. I am super happy with this purchase. I will be buying again for emergencies.

Must have
I only recently learned the recommended shelf life is only two years. I have used "Fix a Flat" in the past. It only works on punctures like nails, NOT for sidewall damage, or rim damage. There are just places/weather you don't want to fumble around changing a tire. This is a quick fix to get you to a garage. home or parking lot, not a permanent fix (when I was a kid, sure I pushed that theory). If you get a flat on the highway...I'd just drive on the rim until I got off the highway.

Difficult to use and eventually hose end broke
I purchased this can of Fix-A-Flat to fix, what I believe, is a rim leak on my truck tire which needs to be filled once every week or so. When I attempted to use the product I let some air out of the tire (down to 25 psi) so it would be easier to dispense the contents. The instructions on the can say to have the valve on the tire at the 6 o'clock...which I did as well. When I attempted to make the connection using the swivel connector on the can's hose it was difficult. The hose on the can is very short and stiff and because it came coiled in the can's lid, did not want to straighten out making connecting it to the tire a very awkward process. It was hard to screw the hose end on the valve without it binding so it felt like it was cross-threading. I have machined aluminum valve caps and they go one very easily so I know the threads on the tire's valve stem are clean. I finally did get it on and when I attempted to dispense the contents it filled the hose but that was about it. I could not see any contents flowing thru the hose at all. I assumed it was not on far enough so I took it off to try again and the contents sprayed everywhere showing it was indeed under pressure....just not going into the tire. After multiple tries the hose end eventually just broke off and stayed on the tire's valve stem. I was able to get it off, but at this point the can is useless to me. Obviously I cannot and will not recommend this product. I have used this product before and had success, but that was when the hose was longer and wired to the side of the can making it much easier to use, versus how they are shipped now. I would recommend going with another product or possible going to a box store (which is what I plan to do) to find one that does not have this design. At the very least, if you do choose to disregard this review, I would try it with the tire's valve stem at the 3 or 9 o'clock position which might make it easier to thread the hose end on to the valve stem,. Also, if you choose to go this route you might just be throwing your money away. I attempted to get a refund from Amazon and was directed to the manufacture's web site. From there you are directed to use the 800 number of leave a general message that is in no way connected to your Amazon purchase. Past experience tells me it will not be an easy process so it looks like I am out the $12.

priceless product that can save you
So this stuff is amazing! I've had 6 punctures in the last year because I'm around a construction site. I've had screws nails, razor blades punctures constantly. I tried using one of those screw in plugs and it didn't work. Basically it just pried open the hole even bigger. With this can the fluid will initially blow out the hole but then i leave it to dry and overnight it will seal. Even worked on a big hole caused by a razor blade. I know tire repair shops hate this stuff but it works. I've been able to delay buying new tires and my tires are full of holes that this stuff has held together for months. btw do not buy the knock off cheap copies. Only buy this brand. The other stuff is like water and is useless.

This is meant to get you to to a service station that actually does tires .. it's not a "flat-fixer"
Luckily I haven't used this one but have used them before. As long as you have a small nail/screw hole on the tread area... (-not on the sidewall, if the whole is in the sidewall, save your time & swap tires or call a tow truck)... & haven't lost all the air you'll be ok. Just don't pull the nail or scre put. Just screw the stuff on and start blasting it in there. Drive slowly first few mins then chek it.. if your air pressure is still low go for can 2 or just get to a shop with Air (good luck) - this stuff is meant as a quick fix. Can't just leave it in the like Slime.. this is just to get to to a service station that actually does tires
