This brand of dye has amazingly vibrant colors. The dye itself is easy to use and easy to store extras. I love that you don't have to throw it away if you dont use it all the first time. The color does wash out and fade over time, but if you limit how often you wash your hair, wash with color safe shampoo and conditioner, and only use cold(er) water, it lasts for weeks. It works best on light/bleached hair to get the most vibrant color possible. You can also add some of this dye to a color safe conditioner and top off your color with every wash or just do an all over color touch up when needed. Be careful when drying your hair after a shower, going out in the rain, or being in really humid or sweaty situations as the dye can come off onto clothing, towels, and skin. Its pretty easy to get off of skin, but it can stain. The Amplified version of the dye gives a more vibrant color and the original Manic Panic is slightly less intense, but both are great in my opinion. This dye is vegan friendly and cruelty free as well which is awesome. My hair is always left feeling soft, hydrated, and healthy after a color top off. Love it!!

My favorite color lots of compliments. Temporary so best if I use every 3 weeks but I do go longer. I have mostly grey but salt and pepper hair.

I have used Manic Panic off an on for the last 20 years. It's always delivered consistent quality and great color. Since I've been happy with the regular color, I'd never tried the "amplified" formula until now. Wow! What a difference. This version of Atomic Turquoise was much more intense and lasted 3 times as long. I did experience a little more color bleed on pillowcases and hats, but it was worth it for much less maintenance. Use a dark pillowcase, wear a bandana, and go on with your vibrant life.

I love how vibrant the color was, and it has lasted for a whole month like this! I still have more left in the bottle and i am going to reapply soon, but i love how long it stayed. Manic panic is a goto for me.

I've been dying my hair every color you could imagine for nearly 2 decades now. Blue is probably my most common dye job, right after good ol' plain Jane brown. As far as blue dyes go, this one is pretty good. I certainly like it better than the cheap box dye you can get at your local Walgreens. I dunno what it is about the box dye, but it seems they stain my skin and general surroundings better than it does my hair. Manic Panic doesn't stain my skin nearly as bad, and seems to be easier to get out of surfaces like my shower and bathroom sink. However, like nearly every other blue hair dye on the market, this color will fade faster than others (Reds, purples, and pinks seem to last longer and "leak" less.) Essentially, as long as your hair is still blue, your hair will leak any time it's wet. You'll want to invest in blue towels, just for drying your hair or wrapping it up until it's completely dry. This is typical of most blue dyes I've used, so it's expected. It's hard to say if this product has helped/harmed my hair quality since using as I use a lot of other products like conditioner, leave in conditioner, color protectors, etc. If I had to wager a guess, I'd say maybe my hair is a little bit shinier and softer than it was when I used the box blue dye from Walgreens that shall remain nameless. It does smell nice, as far as hair dye goes. And of course, every time I shower, my hair becomes a blue raspberry teabag that slightly stains my skin and surroundings after each wash. And you really have to make sure your hair is dry before you get it near any kind of surface- especially your bed, clothing, etc. Most of my bedding is blue anyway, so it wasn't too big of an issue when it stained a pillow case of mine. Word of advice- even if you're sure your hair is entirely dry, you'll want to invest in a sacrificial pillowcase to protect your pillows and sheets. ESPECIALLY if you're staying the night in a hotel or friend's place. Sorry, mom, for your smurftastic pillow.

Dude the color is awesome!!!

I tried this on a whim, due to my regular (salon) brand discontinuing their turquoise color (idiots!). It's been a looooong time since I used manic panic (try high school, 23 years ago lol!), but color me (tee-hee) impressed!!! Color really saturated and has better staying power than my salon brand! Yes.... you still get "the bleeds" when it's wet.... but buy dark towels and enjoy the color!!! LOVE it, buying again!
