This does the trick ! It's smooth over hardwood and area rugs, I love the light feature, the one downfall is it doesn't click into the stick portion as easily as the factory Dyson attachment. Takes a little extra muscle. Otherwise, not bad and saved me from having to buy a new vacuum.

The wheels on this are better than the original, and the light on front is really helpful. I love my Dyson Vacuum and am super happy to find reasonably priced replacement parts.

Bought this to replace my Dyson vacuum head that broke but it barely had any suction. Normally with my two furry dogs and kids, my vacuum container needs to be emptied multiple times while vacuvacuuming the house but with this head I could have vacuumed multiple times within the week and never emptied it. Also the swivel was a little too loose because the vacuum head would not stay in the direction I wanted it to go. Would not recommend

Everything works well except due to the different wheel arrangement (not like the Dyson) it has a mind of it's own on a rug, forget the carpet really wobbly. On the hard surfaces it does very well, hence I gave it a 4 star.

This brush is a little bit taller than the original so if there wee any spots that were tight ot easy to clean under, not it is not possible to get there. Additionally, this brush doesn’t turn on all the axis like the original one and because of that, is you had a place that you could reach by turning the head on it’s side, it won’t be possible anymore The good parts: - the LEDs do help find dirt - the brush power is similar to the original but not the same either. - The thread direction on the brush is pretty good and help direct the dirt into the pipe, the only downside of that is that most long hair/threads will get stuck to is pretty fast but that is also true for the original though - cleaning the brush is really simple and fast, I recommend having a small exacto knife for cutting all the hair that might get stucked

This motorhead is even nicer than the original Dyson motorhead. It has lights and is also very quiet!

Great add on for the Dyson since my other broke for no reason and the replacement was $119 and this one was a whole lot cheaper and did the exact same thing and has a light at the front! Definitely worth the money spent!

La compre para reemplazar un cabezal de una Dyson V11 que se daño. Por el precio pagado muy similar al de un cabezal original, esperaba mucho mas, me explico : 1) El motor de este cabezal es mas pequeño, y hace girar al rodillo a travez de un engrane, ademas no es auto adaptable al piso; cuando el original el motor esta dentro del cabezal y es adaptativo, es decir, se adapta al tipo de suelo y gira mas lento o mas rapido y hace que la aspiradora incremente la potencia de aspirado. 2) Los cepillos del rodillo no tienen donde "rasparse" para eliminar lo que se les va pegando, como cabello, hilos, entre otros y se van juntando en los cepillos. El cabezal original tiene unas pestañas plásticas que "raspan" las escobillas del rodillo para quitarle la basura y que sea aspirado mas facilmente. 3) Tiene 2 ruedas justo en la zona donde se flexiona el cabezal, que no ayudan mucho al deslizamiento de la misma, la original no tiene estas ruedas y se desliza mucho mejor 4) En ocasiones no hace contacto la zona de aspirado con el piso, se queda levantada y debes empujarla con el pie para que baje hasta el piso y haga el aspirado correcto. Esto no sucede con la original. En general puedo decir que por el precio pagado no cumplió mi expectativa y lo voy a utilizar para ciertas condiciones, como aspirado en suelo liso, en lugar de alfombra porque el motor se oye demasiado forzado. Si llega a presentar algun otro detalle actualizare la opinion.

this thing doesn't suck up anything, the brushes come no where close to touching the floor, if your thinking about buying this to replace your broken oem motor head because this is cheaper dont....its garbage

Does not pick up dog hair off carpet as good as the Dyson attachment

Does the same work as the original. I like it.
