The wings on this chicken are stitched down. Is there a reason that one should not clip them?

Yes there is a reason. It’s so your chicken doesn’t fly the coop. Please do not stitch down a real chickens wings though. That would be mean.

Is this ok to have in a residential area? How many eggs will it produce?

Every area has their own rules about chickens...”farm animals”:..to be in the safe side, I would suggest reaching out to your city directly, or checking out the website for your municipality! As to egg count, they lay less when they first start to produce, and the numbers will slowly go up to 3-5/day, but each chicken is different as well, of course! Good luck!
