Why has the priced jumped so much? I've never paid more than $15 for the 2.25 lb bag, it's now $39.88.

It comes from Germany. Maybe that has something to do with the price hike?

is this ok to feed aquarium fish?

This is a diet specifically formulated for goldfish and koi. It can be fed to them in aquariums, yes, but would not be suitable for tropical fish, cichlids, etc. Also, it is a fairly large stick so the fish should be at least 4 or 5 inches long.

How big are the sticks? I have only goldfish, not koi. Fish are at most about 5 inches.

The Sticks are about a 3/8 to 1/2 inch long...my 3-4 inch koi ate them up just fine...and are about 6 inches now. They preferred the sticks over the flakes when I fed them both to them for a while, but the flakes were just a waste until I ran out. A big bag will go a long way! Bruce
