This is a sweet story. As a swimmer, I am drawn to the therapeutic appeal of water - both physical and emotional. It is a nice story. Interesting cast of characters. The author does a nice job of weaving the story lines together. But it was predictable.

It's an interesting read. The vocabulary is different in spots. Defiantly written in Ireland.

It's a nice book. But it's slow and it just meanders, and I found myself skimming through the descriptive passages. The main characters are all likeable, but there's no real hook or excitement. It's just a nice story about nice people who live in a nice town and it all wraps up very nicely. Maybe I would have felt differently if I'd read it during winter instead of summer? It's a cozy kind of book. We read it for bookclub, and half the members did not finish it.
