Much better than the nut that comes with the Tesla ESR phone mount. That one is cheap and always breaks!

Much better quality than the one that came with my ESR car mount. It holds just as good if not a little better than the stock one. The wing nut style is definitely easier to tighten up.

Does not fit an iottie Easy One Touch Wireless cell phone car mount
I specifically purchase this 17mm nut to replace a tightening nut that I lost for an iottie cell phone car mount. No matter how I tried to thread it on to the mount, it wouldn't attach to the mount's threads, and I have to return them to the vendor. I believe the iottie car mount nut may be 17.2 mm in diameter (that is, slightly larger than these.)

perfect solution to a broken 17mm nut
Oh you all have no idea how happy I am to have found this. I must have tried 3 different 17mm nuts before this one fit perfectly over the ball head and tightened it like it's supposed to be. My cell phone mount can now be secure and won't shake around while I'm driving. I've suffered for at years so it's little things like this which make life better.
